(HOMM3) Is it possible to convert saved games to maps?
Hello,
I made a custom map ~1 year ago, and my computer crashed recently. I thought that the custom map was gone with that happening, but I found an old hotseat save of the map on my USB, and that save still works even though I don't have the map saved on my computer.
So now I ask - is it possible to convert this "savegame file" to a proper map that I can use for new games?

task looks extremely hard. i don't know if such tool exists. ask experts from VCMI project

I am, but we just don't support original savegames. To my knowledge, they contain partial information about the map, but still extracting it requires lots of reverse engineering.
Still, you can ask on our board.

Oh, too bad.
Very well, I will register on the VCMI board and then I will ask there. Thanks for the information, guys.
EDIT: I can not register - the validation image is broken. Tried it with both Opera and Chrome. :s

It isn't that easy to read that... 
EDIT: Just saying that I have tried to refresh the image - neither Opera nor Chrome reads that as an image, so I can not even open the image. It is not there.
