Music of the Gods
Yes I know what ur thinking this is another of those what's ur favorite band threads. Not really. I know old Ozzy Strated something like this thread, but that's maybee on page 17 or 18 well u know what i mean...forgoten.
Let me skip all of this and get to the point.
This thread is a CONTEST about who u THINK is the best band. I will accept nominations for a couple of days(If this works) and then well start voting...
I personaly nominate: Rage Against the Machine, Metallica and Apocalyptica. I have three nomination and so does everyone else. You can't nominate(of course) some band that has allready been nominated...Simple enough...LET THE GAMES(CONTEST) BEGIN!

Salva please note that Queen has allready been nominated. This goes for everyone.PLEASE DO NOT NOMINATE TWICE. It creates confusion. I know this was just a simple mistake... but please watch it.
Now I have to return to my duty of watching the Winter Olympic games. I will check this evening(U.S. Eastern time) to determine when i shall close the nominations and start the voting.

Desicion...IMPORTANT
The nomination pools close tommorow at 2100(9pm) eastern U.S. Time. That's 0100(1am)Greenwich time, 0200(2am) eastern and western europe time and 0300(3AM)Kyjev time and i tihink thats 0400(4am)Moscow time.At this time I shall explain the rules and procedures of the voting.
I also would like to advise the ones of you who have used only one or two of their nominations to do so now or as soon as possible(Cat and Oldtimer).

Well the time has come!
Yes it is time to start the voting. But before we start I should explain a couple of procedures and rules in the voting part of this contest.
First of all since everyone has 3 nominations and there is a wide number of bands I have decided that everyone will have 3 votes to their use.
Another reminder and an obvious thing is that you can't vote for the band that you have nominated! Please keep this in mind.
The voting shall be held from this time till the this time on Saturday the 23 of February 2002. At this time the voting ceremony shall be finished and the top 3 bands anounced.
