I haven't really had much of a chance to play around with EE 5.5 or RPE but want to give each of em a shot. What are some good recommended maps that would be fun to play with either mod? The default Heroes 5 maps that I've played are all pretty dull and craptastic.
With 5.5 you can go to Q's EE website and there, his 3 reference maps are available(they are also with the A.I.pkg.) along with "Axis of Evil"from Hellglory and "Dread Realms" from myself. Sorry I can't offer more. I've had little time to play for quite a while since I've been also been involved in the project.
Btw, What sort of map are you interested in? I have a few more that I've not yet released nor have had tested. Game for some feedback work and fun?
