1.4 bug Reports

You know what to do Sadly I cannot play just yet but I will be keeping an eye on the bugs and forwarding them to BH.



[*] The game launches, is in the background but no display, the screen comes from full to minimized but then I have to kill the process.  I desinstalled everything because I patched the manual version from the link above and maybe it was the cause but now, after finally installing v 1.3 again and applying the online patching process of 1.4 it's still the same.

[*] We get announcements that we unlocked a creature in the Bestiary, but we still don't have access to it.

[*] When casting Firebolt, the creature hit animation plays before it gets hit.

[*] One of the floating buildings in the inferno town floats through city walls (on adventure map).

[*] Inferno city walls in town window are still moving with the camera.

[*] Inferno mage female hero is holding staff and sword at the same time in the "transforming to blood hero" cutscene.

[*] Button for town building made as a shortcut on adventure map isn't working. In fact, NONE of the town interface button works as shortcut.

[*] There are pathfinding issues with Heroes without armies. If you send them from a point A to a point B, the game will determine a path that will cross neutral stacks on the map (as if the hero would bypass them), but the hero will then stop his movement in front of the neutrals.
If there's a secondary path, you have to play around until you find a path that will force your hero to walk through the correct path.

[*] The Magister's Set 2 piece bonus gives +4 Might Defense.

[*] The reputation UI shows your reputation as XXX/300 even though the rank 1 is reached at 250 points

[*] The Inferno's Crucible of Chaos doesn't work (it's supposed to give random trading rates).

[*] Gold income per day tooltip doesn't include grail structure bonus (+5000 gold/day)

[*] The Festival of Life archievement kicks in too fast. Got it on the third day of week of festivals.

[*] Pearl Priestess "Eye of medusa" still bugged, reducing 5 ini most of the time instead of 20.

[*] Kappa Shoya leap ability still bugged and missing the 3x3 animation.

[*] Kensei multi attack still bugged.

[*] Moral and luck displays as 0 in the hero customization screen.

[*] Light Elemental still get retaliated.

[*] Previous versions worked fine, now game crashes upon startup.

[*] Inferno's mark of chaos bug is still present. It has like a 100% chance to restore 50% of the mana spent by the opponent, while the tooltip says it has a 50% chance to restore 20% of what the hero spent. (Not that inferno feels 'way too good' because of this..)

[*] Cyclopes now lose units right away, not when their turn comes.

[*]A stack of neutral fire elementals who were defending a town FLED.
I petrified a stack of ravagers that I previously teleported inside the walls. Apparently, the situation was unsolvable and they fled while defending a siege.
The castle wasn't even mine after that, I had to enter and engage them allover again.

[*] Disruption does not stack.

[*] Frenzy can not only work on undead but it also gives you control over the unit for the remainder of the battle!

[*] Boots of the waverider, Relic. +1 creature movement on sea and +5 ini. It's bugged because your units gain 6.66 times of its base ini. You can even see it on the adventure map that the unit gains the ini. All your units will have 150 up to 330+ ini.

[*] Lifeblood Pendant Relic +3 HP to friendly units. Bugged as it gives enemy units +4 HP.

[*] Most of the times, artifacts that give ini or HP won't give anything.

[*] Inferno unique building "Altar of Destruction" which summons meteors and reduce enemy units movement by 1 to walkers is bugged. It does not reduce any movement to any unit.

[*] Necropolis unique building "Wasting Grounds" bugged. It does not reduce living (or any other unit) might dmg and HP by 10% in your area of control or anywhere else for that matter.

[*] Centaur Marauder gets morale, but can't act again. Maybe I am not doing something right, but after I shoot, then I can only move the unit or cancel it's turn.

[*] Computer hero with no army tried to attack my hero (also with no army). Then the computer turn never ended and my turn to act never came.

[*] My hero passed a creature that was guarding a road. Then couldn't return.

[*] Sometimes I have 1 or 2 movement points left and I am already standing next to enemy hero, who I want to attack, but still I can't attack him. I can move in other direction, but I can't attack the hero. This might not be a bug, but still it's better to point it out.

[*] Breeder Mother ability "Mana Leech" is bugged. It says it drains 5% of enemy current mana but it drains enemy max mana (so it always drains the same amount) How big stack of Breeder Mother doesn't affect anything.

[*] Archlich ability "Dark Embrace is bugged. It says decreases magic def (dark) by 20% to target and adjacent units. Though the target and adjacent units will get -5% instead. But that doesn't matter because there isn't even any dmg increase despite what it says on the unit status screen.

[*] The necro player with the skill "Magic of darkness" becomes a +8 of Magic power and then the chamion creatures becomes a bonus of 8x2.5=20%.

[*] The succubes tooltip say's that the ennemy creatures will not move, exept if we attack it. When we launch the abilities, it says 2 turn. Furthermore we can attack the creatures, nothing happen.

[*] A legendary artificat which is supposed to give +3 range attack and remove range penalties doesn't seem to work.

[*] If the Kensei have planned to attack a creature but have failed (because of a goblin trap) they will still gain a second attack the next turn if they attack it.

[*] About the centaure abilities (attack ennemies at half range) some times it works, some times not.

[*] Hypnosis : the spell is very short, if the creatures has moral and play two times, we have control only for the first time.

[*] If the creature in the main tower (in a siege) is under hypnosis, it becomes very weak (and with range penalties !).

[*] The dipomacy abilities doesn't work enough (not enough creatures join)

[*] the shortcut button we place on the adventure map doesn't seem to work.

[*] A heroes without army some times try to walk trough neutral creatures. there they stay stuck.

[*] Since 1.4 the launcher fails to launch the game.

There are lots of pathing issues with Heroes without armies. If you send them from a point A to a point B, the game will determine a path that will cross neutral stacks on the map (as if the hero would bypass them), but the hero will then stop his movement in front of the neutrals.

 


If there's a secondary path, you have to play around until you find a pathing that will force your hero to walk through the correct path.

Maybe it's meant that way but the Festival of Life archievement kicks in too fast. Got it on the third day of week of festivals, instead of having killed any creature during the whole week.

-Sanctuary Might hero ability "Twin Fang" bugged, it does not do a double attack. (only tested 3 times)

Infernos mark of chaos bug is still present (or at least it works really differently than what the tooltip says.) It has like a 100% chance to restore 50% of the mana spent by the opponent, while the tooltip says it has a 50% chance to restore 20% of what the hero spent. (Not that inferno feels 'way too good' because of this though..)

I am too disappointed with the game at the moment.

- Until they fix the turtling thingy I am going to just quit any duel that noobs exploit it

- What the *** with the cyclopes? Why did they ruin their ability not to lose any creatures until their turn comes?

Yuki-Onna's "Frozen Caress" is bugged. It should decrese ini by 20 and movement by 1 but it only decreases movement

I thought that "disruption" could be added to the previous "disruption and stack to decrease opponent's defense but it seems it doesn't

i tryed it again on weaver...same bug i think! I owed the creature all game...too bad cose at some point (when the game almost finished) - the game stopped after i moved the ravangers...meaning the creatures didnt respond
I dont know if its same as puppet, cose the guy I played not sure tried to hit the weavers, or dispell them...what-so-ever
