Multiplayer error - Connection timed out

Hello Heroes 6 fans !!!!

I am in need of your help. I have searched this forum for answers, but can;t find any. I'll try to be short in my post, and any help would be much appreciated.

When I try to join any multiplayer game - i keep getting the below screenshot: ->

Also - my firewall is deactivated.
has anyone experienced this issue before ? if yes, how did they fix it ?

The people on both ends have to have the ports which the game uses opened. If you are with a NAT-enabled router, you have to set up a port forwarding. Exactly which ports have to be opened is something which the Ubisoft tech support should answer, there was some fan-created list in the official forum but apparently not full as some people reported that it's not working for them. Bridge mode will resolve the problem but it's rather inconvenient as you won't have Internet on more than 1 machine (or you will but illegally which your ISP won't like ).

I also wanna mention that I use a router. But i have done some tests, and plugged the cable directly in the computer, and I am still receiving the same error message. The only difference is that It takes 1 minute for the error message to be generated.
