Looks like people are trolling the 'trolls' now.
It's almost like positive opinions are more credible than negative ones

Altough I don't agree with "better than all older heroes" part, the rest I completely agree. I like all the changes they have made. The resources, the ability to buy all your troops from any town, are control, spell/skill charge and refrest time and everything. Add to that the most beautiful artwork and design in Heroes series and the perfect soundtrack.
When the bugs get fixed and with some nice additions, it does really have the potential to be the best.
I don't think anyone fell in love with the initial release of Heroes 5. But now can anyone reject that with ToE it became one of the best in the series (best for me)?

The Tactics skill notwithstanding, the unit arrangement before battle is a serious source of frustration indeed, meaning in essence that at least 1 skill point MUST go for Tactics if you want to turn the mob into an army. Why this was designed in such manner is beyond me.

Well it's as if you saked us to rig the ratings Elvin. I actually don't think that something like hating the game because there's no black dragons is a less valid point than someone who would make a whole paragraph about the game mecanics.
In the end, some players don't care about the myriad of potential new tactics packed in the game, they expect to get the core elements they came to love in this series, it's identity: town screens, black dragons etc. So they have all the rights to feel cheated if Ubi didn't serve that.

I don't want to start anything (it's more like an involuntary reflex) and people are allowed to have different opinions, but I don't agree about the design being all that great.
I have yet to see one creature I don't think look better in one of the other games.
Besides, I think they (Ubihole) rely too much on particle effects.
And the music that aren't remixes are too bland, in my opinion.
Currently, I can only remember the Stronghold theme, probably because of that flute interlude.
EDIT: So as not to be a complete negative nancy, I'd like to say I think the 'nature' in the game looks great. Or at least on par with previous Heroes games.

I would give the game 5/10 right now, because of the bugs... But after it gets fixed I would give it 8/10.
8 because of some stupid decisions, retarded and annoying mechanics (like you can resurrect your hero the same day he dies, low flee penalty and the blood path being more time consuming) and user unfriendly UI...

Then you have not read carefully what I said. I do not promote giving 9 and 10 just to balance the trolls, just posting what you believe the game is worth. And yes when someone gives 0 or 1 he is a troll, just venting his frustration, often for reasons that are not there. Suppose you broke down the game to 10 categories and rated them individually, even if you hated the game it would not get that low. Those people are not rating the game as a whole, they find one thing they hate and they grade the whole game with that in mind.
If they all posted a fair, honest opinion I would have no issue at all but they are just being malicious here. And they are causing harm, I know that from first hand.
