My friend from Russian conflux Vetalkl buy one more game key, this time for EU conflux (i told him about TOH, he decide to try) and he say is lost money cos EU confux is empty compared to RU conflux. Very strange to me ... Let's hope UBI will listen and will unite multiplayer servers. Splitting multiplayer community is huge killing blow from UBI, looks like they don't understand the situation at all ...

Yes, these multi servers are idiotic, though I guess they thought they may have a lot more multi going on to support than one server could handle.

All decent MMOs run multiple servers and find a way for players to interact with each other across servers (e.g. WoW's battlegrounds).
They can cluster the servers together. Might be a new thing for them, but hey, it's worth a shot!

Well even in WoW it is split into regions that have absolutely no connection (EUvsUS servers for example). But WoW is a huge game so spliting doesn't really hurt it.
It might be final nail into Heroes coffin though, as splitting russian players from rest of europe/us will bring a huge decline in overall participation and game possibilities.

Hi,
I think I got Infinitus'ed too 
I have been in the lucky position of playing Heroes 3 through 5 with some great guy's from "over there" ( which I met through TOH ) for almost 5 years now 
Money is tight at my end at the moment so I tried to get a game with a US key, but to my surprise it was a EU key - Son of a gun ! !
Is there any way that I can get it un-done to a US key instead, or am I just royaly screwed ?

well EU key shouldnt be any problem....
I got an EU key but I still have Jinx and Ves on my friendslist in the game (conflux) so I guess that key should be okay...

having trouble with 1.2 update?
HIya Gang!
Yes, the ole Bat is still around. Kyriel for those of you looking at my toh profile. I am now playing on the Mac platform (iMac) with parallels using Vista. My buddy, Ancient Vampire, and I play almost every night along with BargainMon. AV and I had problems getting the 1.2 update for the game and the support was not helpful. They were very nice and friendly, but not much help. I found the solution. In the folder under program files\ubi\might and magic heroes vi you will see two icons for applications. Ooops, I mean in the explore option from the win start button. One is for MMHVI and the other, which is the the same icon, is titled simply "Game". Before opening the game, just use explore and double-click on the "Game" icon not the MMHVI one. This ran all the updates for me, as I was not getting them in the auto update part automatically when actually starting the game. I hope this helps people out there who are having the same issue. Pretty soon I will be TOH-ing again.

seems like h6-toh is dead. the only thing that could bring h6 multi alive is if developers would deliver things like replays,simturns,custommaps for multiplayer playable,random race etc. in the patch 1.3 which should come soon. if these things will only appear in next addons many people wont buy it because its insolent to implement features which had been in previous heroes games not in the vanilla version.
i hope these so-called "VIP-Members" will do something.
