So you may draw your own conclusions. It is, largely, my own words and my own collection of the ideas of others, meshed into a creature I cannot recall seeing before like this.

So you admit to using Terry Pratchet's great Atuin for one of your elite creatures.

I do like the concept though. Better than walking trees... They should totally be a champion.

Actually, the terratoise is an elite creature. The treants are champions.

Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, but the terratoise and treant seem to be very similar in nature, with both of them encompassing the idea of a giant, ancient, monolithic sylvan creature.

I'm really loving those stag-riding elves also. The only creature in the line-up I'm not fond of are the satyr, although they do fit perfectly fine, I've just never personally liked them in any setting. 2-legged goat men that like to drink a lot and seduce women are just... friggin' weird.

No bad ideas by any means, but that has a whole lot of overlap with my Terratoises. Except for the fact that the Terratoises are ranged, they help with seiges, root enemies and heal treants.
Well for terratoise my first thoughts would have been Armoured, Immune To Earth, Large Shield, Regeneration and Shield Allies

War-overlord casts Mass Reply.

@Xerox: Yes, indeed Torterra was a large inspiration. But then again, so was Venusaur.

@Gnomes: I only ever read one Terry Pratchet book, Monstrous Regiment, and that never mentions that specific tortoise. So I had no prior knowledge of that, before you mentioned it.

@Matt: I never had the intention of making my Terratoises tanks. They have always been meant to be support creatures. Your thinking of them too much as actual tortoises, they are not that durable.

@Blizz: The Terratoises are not big. The Scouts, Unicorns and Treants are the 3 large creatures of the faction. The Terratoises are quite small, so the idea of them as giant monolithic creatures is false and sprouts entirely from your own mind.
I am glad my stag-riding elves are liked. I never quite liked the idea that elves rode horses, with the exception of unicorns. In fact, in whatever fantasy setting, I am opposed to anything other than humans riding horses.
Also the picture that I am trying to create with my Satyr is less drunken, horny goatmen and more rampant, ecoterrorist goatelves.

Then I really don't see how you can fit Terratoises and Treants in the same lineup, because I really can't think of any abilities which would be more appropriate for the Treants.

I'll be able to come up with something, just you wait. Also I need not concern myself with coming up with more appropriate skills for my Treants, only with equally appropriate skills.

I think Terratoise is the most brilliant creature name I've ever seen anyone come up with on this forum.

Well you could switch out Overgrowth for Shield Allies (Basic + Upgrade) and Heal Allies (Upgrade), which would allow the Treants to get the ability to tear down walls. If you want an extra ability for the Terratoise, just give them the moat thing as well. Also for Treant, a half-power strike from one space away, and Take Root (the Terratoise heal will be weaker now since it's meant to work with everyone, and I don't know if it counts as resurrection as well).

Again, Matt, thank you for the suggestions. I know you're meaning well. But most of your suggestions are opposite of what I aim for.
First of all, Terratoises are not meant to be healers. Sylvan's focus lies on not getting hit in the first place, not healing your losses away. The idea that Overgrowth heals Treants was an afterthought, when I realised that it would only have use in sieges otherwise. Also you should not see it as healing and more of reconstructing. Armies should be able to cope without a healer-creature.
Second, in sieges, I view the Elves as the kind that would leave the walls standing and get over them, instead of tearing them down. Elves have mastered the art of hurting without destroying.
Also, you should not interpret my lack of additions in the last days as failure to come up with something, but more as lack of time due to me having an exam in a few hours.
