I like randomness until it comes to unsolvable battles, so I reduced it. TDS uses the usual chinese system where you start like a bug and end GOD like. I prefer to keep challenge until the last encounter.

AI creatures have scripted abilities, but removed block and regeneration completely (except the 20% block of dracoliches, don't know how to). Their last ability slot is occupied by a 200% hatred ability vs one of our creatures, this ability changes every week, to make sure all battles are doable.

Thanks for your answer,Salamandre!
And about the second henchman?Do your heroes on your map have the choice to have it?

No commanders, no henchman, as usual. That's chinese specialty.

Fighting Bron and his impossible Basilisks, using the most underrated spell:

40000 demons can kill 6000 basilisks on hit, so they weren't game break, specially when I have to teleport them back each turn. Bron had mass prayer/haste/cure, but no dispel^^

The only bug so far is managing 40k demons. I must pay great attention when moving them from one slot to another, as without using the slide bar they simply vanish. Strange bug, when playing Necro on XL maps, you go beyond 40k, they did not think?

What about?

And what about the binding tactic where you bind an enemy stack,go away from it and the stack is still bind to the ground?

I know that for a grandmaster player it could ruin the challenge and the challenge is in your maps the main theme...

But if it can be balanced by an option to do it once per combat,to lose random ability if used or some other counter effect, maybe it would save battle time...

Or to be used only against specific creatures...

Bind does not interest me, I also removed blind. Dragons are from artefact, summons at battle start.

I am month 17, only 10 more areas and 6 of my heroes are already this level:

Just saved before I move, as the script will reset to 100 and 99 stats.

600 of each means 4-5 mithril bars at the market weekly rate. Not much, but not nothing still.  The cost of upgrades is very high and I reached the limit cap only for 2 creatures out of 5. I did some mistakes and bad calculated my plan, invested a lot in Armageddon while I don't need it bigger, and did not keep enough funds to constantly purchase stats.

Going to correct that, I still have about 3 months of play.

Can you post some screenshots regarding Spoils of War and it's "prizes"?

Spoil of war calculates the health of enemy army, divides by 10 for gold reward and by 1000 for resources. You get both gold and a random resource.

For example, after defeating a 30 000 cyclopes king stockpile, you get 6000 of each resource (normal reward) then this:

Of course, defeating a 30k stockpile with cyclopes at HP=310 + all other stats accorded is not a early game commodity.

Month 19, battle vs Thant on cursed ground or how to win an impossible battle with less than 10 creatures lost. Thant has mass haste, his creatures stats are 5 times ours, his blood dragons have no retal, attack all around, immune to slow and haste enhanced (they will move first)
Bonus: your creatures can move twice every turn.

Well it will mostly depend on the fact that Blood Dragons won't get out from the castle as you don't have any shooter.

So once again all the startegy is based on AI flaw?

Still, I see no other possibility with the information given. Need to block or kill the liches so they never have a chance to move and avoid the dragon at the same time.

Well with 2 moves/creatures on each turn and 2 spells you must kill all the other creatures and the blood dragon will remain.
I think for the first turn cast a mass haste(only if you could get more speed then blood dragon if not you will have to lose a big dmg making by casting prayer) and teleport(If you have more speed) on demons.

All strategies against AI are based on its flaws, if he played like human, we would never have a chance. Popa, no spells, we are on cursed ground.

But here, it is not about blocking lyches -if you send troops to block, you are dead if uncovered-, neither cast haste. Is about splitting the devils in such quantities that a few lyches are alive after first hit. AI will cast different spells if he thinks he can shoot or not. And of course, not let any empty space among your troops, or he will enjoy sending his vampires inside (speed 17 btw). And of course, set the 5x3 efreets (which have resurrect 20%) to cover everything. And of course, is based on luck too, as if the bonus dragon you get on first turn from combo is slower than his, you don't have the time to make the perfect cover. And of course don't go in with all troops, but only the best or your marines

Well you can't make a perfect plan without knowing each detail as even the smallest detail missed= completly failure I'm sure you know this exactly as you're one of the best mapmakers(In my opinion).

Now Fighting Lorelei, level 90 armorer specialist, and her darkness "special" dragons

Her Armageddon is forcing me to bring only immune to fire creatures inside:

And dragons stats, a little frenzy and all this long digits data is halved:

Month 20, still 4 heroes to fight, then over.

Hmm if your Devil has immunity to fire and receptive to friendly spells you may go for frenzy attack with devil and the 2nd spell should be dispel also in some rounds you may use ressurection
But if you don't have them it will be harder. But thats only my oppinion.

The fight is easy, just trying to pull out situations not meet in other maps. Cast frenzy (50% less health), bless (+5% damage turn) then auto battle until turn 60 or so, then stop, cast a few resurrect and is done.
It is only for the surprise of one ridiculous Arma which puts 3/4 of your army on knees (oh, only 10 dragons, I go inside with all).

It's just a surprise battle.
Also I forgot that you changed the spells but it's not such a big difference from what I thinked.
This battle was all about frenzy, and bless is not really necessary

I don't think I want to see the last battle X_X
