Kappa soya - Japanese meaning?

I am unable to find anything about that second "Soya" word.
My game is in Russian, not sure if it is Soya or Soia/etc.
Anyway, does anyone know what the Soya moniker stands for?
Is it a Kappa that eats Soya? Or maybe Kappa that protects Soya fields?
I assume it must mean "Higher" Kappa or "Advanced" Kappa, but not sure exactly and also I can't write in Japanese characters anyway.

Please if someone has info, share it...! Thanks.

EDIT: Hmm, it seems the English version is, in fact, Shoya!
Shoya seems to mean "fly high" in Japanese. So, looks like it is the High-flying Kappa then.

In English it's "Shoya". V Česky je Šoja. It means that they fly (or in this case jump) high. It's like calling them "Kappa High Jumpers" except that in Japanese that doesn't sound stupid.

I had also found another meaning a while back.

As a general noun it means a village headman in the Edo period(1603-1867) but it is open to interpretation when it is used as a proper noun.

You have to boil them down first. Best thing to do is make a soup out of them.
