Academy faction
Hello, i think this is the right place to talk about this, but I might be wrong:
I fear that those snows at ubisoft and black hole will probably never release the academy faction.
Soin the case i'm not wrong, will there be a way to import the academy faction from homm 5 to homm6? Will the graphics automatically look nicer?
If not, will there be a way to mod a brand new academy faction from scratch? With a townscreen and all brand new units? Is there some people skilled enough to do this on those forums?
I'm eager to see what you guys think about that.

So is moding and programation in general.
I'm an experienced total war moder and i know how to import unit from Rome total war to Medieval 2 total war for exemple (medieval2 is the sequel to rome), even if they are on different engines.
SO what i am asking is if it would be possible here.

As Fauch said it's not magic.
The central thing here is that both Rome and Medieval were made in the same engine.
Homm 5 & 6 are, on the other hand totally different engines.
So, empathetically no.
A good team of modders/programmers with a ton of time on their hands and the right hardware and software tools could theoretically make it from scratch, but in practice it ain't gonna happen.

well, re-read your question, because it absolutely didn't sound like you knew anything about modding or video games making
but you have experience. in H5, new factions were created, but not from scratch. they replace existing factions and only use materials already existing in the game.
at least, the good news is factions got made that way, most of the time by someone working alone and in reasonable times.

What a shame, I will have to rely on the liar at ubihole
But maybe one day, a team will make one academy town, like the team that just release a pirate town for homm 3 recently.

Just wait for the expansion pack or DLC or whatever the kids call it these days.
You just know they saved the (arguably) two most popular factions—Dungeon and Academy— for last.
