Adding new Sounds through ERM, .wog

I'm trying to add new sounds for my town, ones that will not replace those already in heroes3.snd so I cannot simply rename them with the .82m file extension. Right now my town is 30MB because I have to give the updated heroes3.snd where I add only a few spells. This seems horribly unnecessary as I would rather do something similar with the .wog file where I list what will be added to the lod, and then h3wupd  adds it in.

I tried making a text file called heroes3 to no avail, what  would be the easiest way to do this? Or another solution...

Thx
