Games For Windows Live
What's this? What will it take for Microsoft to stop this "service"? You may have encountered many people that has lived issues with GFWL. Well, here is mine:
I had a game I've been playing for 2 years now that uses Games For Windows Live, Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition. I've bought the game from Steam. I've activated the game code with this very account. And I've been playing with the same code and the same ID for 2 years.
I've reformatted my PC last week, so uninstalled the game and now reinstalled it. But now, GFWL says ""The product key you entered has already been registered to another LIVE profile" But it's not, it's been used with this very same Windows Live ID. I'm %100 sure. I can even enter with this Windows Live ID to xboxlive and see the game's achievements I've completed.
So now, I can't play the game I have paid for, because Games For Windows Live has a technical problem. I've accumilated so much points in this 2 years I have a wordlwide rank in the game.
Judge for yourself. I won't buy the game again and try to earn all those points again.
I wish this GFWL crap has already been over. But no, more games are coming out with it. I think I'll no longer buy any game that has GFWL.
Tell your own nightmares with this thing people. Come on. Let us have an Anti-GFWL brotherhood.
