so where does inferno stand now?

after those buffs, do u think inferno is any better now? with growth boosted for most factions does it really affect inferno?

dont get me wrong i love inferno but im still struggling at end battles especially against massive armies!

thoughts?

They're better. Time, and more games, will say for sure. In my limited play I'd say they're still nowhere close to Necro...still. That said, Tormentors do seem far, far more difficult to take down(and this makes their 'taste of pain' ability quite useful now, as opposed to meaningless).

I think their mid-game is better, as Chaos Wielder said above Tormentors can be used as the "go hit this" unit.
I managed a fire magic build with the fire specialization hero with minimal losses. Basically Lilims into tormentors, with lilims split to get 7 slot together with fire bolt, gives you enough dmg to ensure your tormentors suffer little to no losses and finish of the stacks that reach them.
Didn't reach end-game yet tho, so to be continued!
