Isant (OoC)
Isant aka The Land of Possibilities
Plot:
Isant is your home. You trained in the ways of fighting and magic and defended it from pirates, bandits, undead and Demons...
A few days ago, an Elven messenger arrived at Coml, the capital of Isant, and requested the assistance from you. He said that the Lord of Tuk'Nam is coming to destroy this world and that the only people that can stop him are to be found on Isant...
Classes:
Warrior - can wield all armours and most of the weapons, no magic
Mage - magic user, fragile
Spellcaster - mix of the Warrior and Mage
Monk - martial arts, agility, no magic
Druid - nature-based magic, fragile, can talk with animals
Rouge - agile, clever, fragile, no magic
Cleric - fragile, healer, positive spells
Warrior of Light - mix of the Warrior and Cleric
Berserker - can wield all weapons and almost all of the armors, no magic
Races:
Human
Elf
Dwarf
Halfling
Goblin
Orc
Lizardman
Ogre
Dark Elf
-There is no religion.
-The region is stable (no earthquakes or volcanoes)
-People are friendly
-King Olen rules Isant. He is a Dwarf, but all races are equal.
-A new king is chosen every 20 years by voting or in a duel.
-No gunpowder and stuff.
-There are six schools of magic: Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Mind (confuse, read mind, etc.) and Curses.
-Nature magic can be used by Druids, only.
-Mages can use only three schools of magic, where one is dominant.
History:
Isant was discovered by Humans after the War of Death (long, long ago; no one remembers the exact age), when they were fleeing from the cruel undead lord Nuth. Nuth abandoned the pursuit and turned to the other races, with Dwarves being the first he attacked.
Humans discovered the Swamps (blueish area on the map) and the Lizardmen that reside there. The Lizardmen were hostile to Humans until Darvis Tess, the first leader of the fled people, explained what was happening and who is Nuth. The Lizard people, seeing that it's better to make more allies than enemies, stopped fighting the Humans and gave them the map of Isant.
One of the places that the Humans noticed was the Isolated Desert (yellowish area on the map). It was populated by Goblins who, like Lizardmen, were hostile to Humans, but once again, Darvis Tess explained what was going on and the Goblins had a change of heart.
Years later, other races arrived at Isant very soon and together they fought Nuth.
Nuth was defeated, but his followers scattered around the world forming many undead armies.

In this game you don't start with the bad equipment and no skills, but you don't start with the overpowered weapons and armors (eg. Sword of the Five Sorrows, Chestplate of the Mighty...), too.
A character example:
Name: Buk'Mah
Class: Warrior
Race: Orc
Age: 36
Description: Big, muscular Orc with long black hair and a small beard. Has a scar on his forehead and his right arm.
Inventory: Sharp Iron Double-Edged Axe, Chain Mail, 300 coins

NoobX,maybe you can enlighten me about the way of RP.
I find the thread,meant for for explaining RP not clear.
So one of my questions is if your brother is a RP player and you are the maker of this thread,doesnt that equal two players for it?
Or is the maker out of the game?

He's the player, I'm the Game Master (GM for short).
A player writes down what his character does and I write what happens.
To make it short: I'm not in the game, I'm around it.

It's been a while since I done a RP in here(Letting Superhumans die was such a shame) And I'm interested in doing another one.
My character:
Name:Vulkan The Forgemaster
Class:Warrior
Race:Human
Age:35(Appears older due to his graying beard)
Description:A virtual man mountain, Vulkan is of huge stature, and being over two meters in height, he clearly stands out of the crowd. He is very muscular, has some scars, and a large, nearly gray beard, which he wears plaited(two or three plaits usually). Vulkan is bald. He has green eyes. Aside of being a warrior, Vulkan is also a master weaponsmith and is also good at armorsmithing.
Inventory:A massive two handed word(wiking style) That only Vulkan may lift and use without much problem, Steel pauldrons and Iron reinforced hardened leather armor, blacksmith's hammer.

What the hecks, I've juggled RPG's succesfull in the past.
Name: Ssrath Bluefire
Class: Mage (Mastery in school of Fire, competent in the schools of Earth and Curses)
Race: Lizardman
Age: Over 100, he has stopped keeping track
Description:Image
Inventory: Cloth Robes; Damascus steel Hunting Knife; Spellscroll; Leather Boots; miscellaneous Alchemy supplies; Coinpurse;
Bio:In his more than a century of life, Ssrath Bluefire has very much been a self-made Lizardman. Discovered to have magic potential at a young age, he was made apprentice of a wizard whose name time has forgotten, only to be returned to his parents a year later. Ssrath was supposedly too obstinate to be a good student. Three more times it was tried by other magi to teach Ssrath the ways of magic, though none of them succeeded to do so for over two years. Thus, when Ssrath reached adulthood he knew some things of Magic but not enough to join any Order of Magic. During his early adulthood, Ssrath used the money he made to buy books of magic, determined to be an autodidact magus and to show his former teachers up. And he did. Nowadays, Ssrath Bluefire is a well respected, if eccentric, member of the Order of Fire Magi, an autodidact Alchemist of some skill and a politician who holds a seat on the City Council(some secondary city but still). And though he's known to leave his studies and vacate his Seat to go find rare tomes and ingredients, he is also known to ever return to the converted windmill he has turned into his home and workplace.

One thing I forgot to add: If you choose a Mage or a Spellcaster, you should say what type of magic they are best at.
Eg. Class: Fire Mage
I'll edit the first post and add the schools of magic.

You can learn magic from three magic schools, but you can completely master only one.
Or, you can chose not to learn the third school of magic and master the other two.

Cause I'm working on a short Bio for my char. But I'm a stickler for lore details, so I want it ot conform to the background. If not, I'm just gonna freeform it and maybe work against things you've been planning.
