Actually good Youtube gaming channels
Gaming and particularly "Let's Play" is apparently the new standard for easy money making on Youtube, just slap a facecam and headset on and play Slender while recording your oh so hilarious reactions, and couple it with a misleading boobs thumbnail and you're good for millions of views. EVERYONE IS DOING IT, including previously non-gaming channels like effing Smosh (**** these guys are boring) who realize just how easy it is.
In light of this ****ing travesty, here are some actually good Youtube gaming channels that I feel like sharing.
Niichts a.k.a. STAR
- skilled FPS gamer with a pleasing voice and nice commentary. His TF2 vids are insanely entertaining, especially his rocket jumping Soldier ones.
Must watch:
Sniper Stomper (TF2)
Snipers can WASD
Criken
- talent for finding hilarious randomness in games. His Left 4 Dead 2 funny moments vids are pretty famous.
Must Watch:
Crikens Cowardly Crusade (Chivalry: Medieval Warfare)
Criken VS Wild (Far Cry 3)
Continue?
- Three guys playing video games, and then deciding whether the game should be Continued or just Game Over. Simple concept, awesomely hilarious results. This is one of those channels that I can pop on while I'm eating breakfast and just enjoy and laugh with them a little.
Must Watch:
Shaq Fu!
Flimsii
- An obscure fellow that's hard to describe. Has a way of satire that I enjoy immensely.
Must Watch:

The Super Pro Lets Players Guide
Jontron
- Mainly does Gamegrumps with Egoraptor right now but his channel is still filled with gaming related complete ****ing awesomeness.

Jacksepticeye - yes you read that right. He is my current favorite. He is Irish and I think mad bat crazy funny. I love this guy. He is sweet and cares about what he does.
Plays a wide variety of different Indie and popular games. Now be aware he is no maestro gamer, doesn't do walkthroughs. But if you want a real laugh, check him out.
Used to like Storpey a lot - if you want to see a guy cry like a 4 year old Princess, he's your bet. But can get a little boring as he doesn't seem to be able to complete anything. Plays mainly horror games, just for the s**ts and giggles - or in his case, man screams.

If you know Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw, then you may be happy to learn he has a series where he plays some janky game for an hour and talks over it with his friend. If you go further back, you can see him actually finish really old games, like fantasy world dizzy. It gets kinda long-winded at times, it's okay to bad, but it gets to be average to good, if you're a fan of yahtzee.
The channel
Jim Sterling tries out cheap (and not so cheap) steam games he sees on the front page. He also point all the awful dreck that steam offers occasionally.
The fat funny man channel
I'm sure everyone knows about HuskySC and Day9, if they're interested in Starcraft. And I'm sure eveyrone knows their league streamers and their Hearthstone streamers, if they're interested in those games.
Lobos is an annoying dude to watch, but he's good at Dark souls and its runty children and he does speed runs for certain games like binding of isaac and shovel knight which are all fairly interesting.
