Different people different taste!
for me Gelu was the most charismatic character of all Rampart/Sylvan/Preserve heroes

First time I realized that might and magic setting was actually a whole futuristic techno biosphere I was really disappointed. If they destroyed that part, I say good riddance.
Especially when spells are presumed to be casted via technology yet nothing is said about that, just this old wizard waving hands and casting a fireball.

haha! yep..
a new hero called Gelu (from Ashan) comes and he has a
hobby of destroying world, finds a random barbarian crazy hero
gets a "super duper i kill u all sword" and fights that barbarian,
who got another super sword called "refrigerator"
then a blinding flash... 
OR
more realistically..
Sareth in dark messiah choses Kha beleth side
and decides to destroy Ashan,
then a blinding flash.. 
OR
the wizards of academy try to create a new creature
mixing a human a donkey and a monkey
the chemical/magical reaction goes wrong,
then a blinding flash.. 
OR
just out of nowhere..

...
just all of a sudden..
...
...
...
...
...
...
guess what!!!

Wizards stop being atheist and starts worshiping Elrath.
All factions of Ashan (Even Demons!) change their Dragon to Elrath.
All together keep shouting "FOR GRIFFIN ETERNAL!!1!"
which produces...a blinding flash
