More probably that no. Heroes 2 creatures do not replicate each other. A nightmare is looking cheap when you have unicorns. Moreover, it it an Axeoth creature.

2Sal: I didn't even risk looking what happens to the mod after Wogifying. Current mod wogification options consist of 99% of bugs. We do not recommend to use any WoG option in the latest open mod release. Currently we develop only the classical aspects, and will get back to WoG ones later.

A programming breakthrough!

The next version of The Succession Wars Mod will properly display the different castle looks on different terrains. This feature, native to HoMM2, was not present in HoMM3, but now we will be able to make maps look neat and consistent.

It's made via plugin for Era, thanks to OxFEA, so it's not exactly scripting I think. I personally thought it's barely possible, but the developments like that motivate a lot to continue working.

if it isn't readily available, i won't bother anyone. i understand that people are busy with extensive work; i can relate. that's part of the reason i haven't been able to release another object patch in so long, even though i've been trying to compile one on top of the work i'm doing for a couple months now(plus try to find an actual job).

you have a lot of people wanting it, for sure. it'd be hell creating the fighting defs for the lineup, though. the townscreen would be a bit of a *****, as well.

While I am a big supporter of the Forge being implemented in Heroes III, I am much less so for Heroes II. The tone and atmosphere between both games are just not the same.

I would even dislike it in H3 but that's still a gray area of taste. With H2 it would be blatantly out of place for certain.

Can you link that plug-in for Era, I dont remember seeing it on the main thread but havent been visiting for a while, I dont play much these days.

It obviously requires all terrains graphics for every town, so you won't get any use of it outside SW mod.

The only way is to borrow the new towns grahics from VCMI (but not sure they finished all), rename to plugin requirements and only then use the plugin.
