I'm not sure where you get that I'm butthurt Elvin? He just sounds rather silly to me ad I'm calling that out.
Also, to me it never was delayed, because to me it's always been spring 2013. Feelings vs facts here. Moreover, if the first mention of a release date was spring 2013, releasing afterwards the date as being february 28th is advancing the release date. Technically the game isnt delayed, it just isn't advanced anymore.
Lastly, and that will come across as butthurt I suppose, but with the track record of Heroes 6, and more importantly of its endless list of whiners, complaining about a later release date is completely moronic. All y'all's main whine back when it was released was that it was an unfinished game. Keep going lads, if you complain loud enough maybe they'll release too early again. That way you'll keep having something to complain about. I'm sure that'll make you happy.

First Ubi said "which is set to be released in Spring 2013!". Which is a wide room but not an exact date.
Then, they marked 28 of February as the exact date of release.
And now it seems that the expansion will be pushed away to May (if the rumor is true).
To me, it's a delay. And to be honest, most people here seems to think as well as a delay so...

Your tone man He just said what happened and you got emotional as if he was out to ridicule you or God forbid prove you wrong. I'd personally be happy with a delay as it can only wrk in favour of the game better but.. that's quite a long delay From what I've seen the game was next to finished with a generally positive ongoing balance testing. With any luck we might squeeze in some ability/spell changes to enrich battles with more useful spells. At least I hope so.

So, Elvin, can you at least tell us whether it is known for sure that the delay is happening? I mean your saying that the game is near complete, why do you think they would delay it? Have they known all this time that its not going to be ready on time and they just wanted some extra cash?

It is not my place to comment on that but as far as I can see the game is in good shape. This is definitely not like the H6 release when the game clearly needed a few extra months to be in a playable state.

StarCraft, Diablo...these are kind of games that sells massively, so I think it can affect H6 audience, yes.

I already pre-ordered my HotS when it got open and I also pre-ordered Diablo 3 when it was made available ... and I did pre-order SoD. They don't lose a customer with me because of release dates, but they do lose me as a customer if they keep screwing around with the quality of the game on release date. I can wait a little longer if that means I won't play a beta version.

Blizzard shoud of postponed HoTS in the feat of SoD ! 
On serious note, I've also preordered HOTS as soon asbI was able to as I love the series. However Diablo 3 dissapointed me deeply. Gave up playing it one week after starting.

Hm. You misread me I think, because I was mostly amused. I had asked a question and explained my feelings on the thing. He answered by saying I was wrong, which is a silly thing to answer to both or any element. Thought that was rather amusing. My last post I was a little annoyed though, mostly because of what you mention here. This place was a giant whinefest back when they released H6, mainly because the product was not finished (which was true in many ways). Now that they're releasing something again, the priority is in no way to release early, it's to release good quality. If they estimate they need more time for that, good lord they better take that time. Whining about it is silly.
Also, february 28 is earlier than spring. May's right in it. The date they had was earlier than the estimated. But then they went back to their first estimate. I'm not going to even attempt to convince you it wasn't pushed back though, because that's silly. Once again a question of perception; to anyone who was aware of the february date, this will feel like a pushback. I just threw out there that technically, factually, it isn't. But truth is a matter of perception, and you are absolutely right from your perspective. Just don't make it an absolute truth yourself.

Why do they release all this Hero bio sh*t (Vein and Belketh) if the game was delayed? Did anyone from Ubi told those folks that run the website that the games release was delayed? What will they "feed us" during this 3 months? One screenshot per week?

Hmm.. 10 dungeon abilities, maybe 5 hero specialisations, racial gauge, so about 19 things to reveal.. Divide by 12 weeks lol..

But someone is releasing (or facilitates) those materials, like screens (Shadow Panther screen was released not so long ago, so it must come from the source). Maybe someone is stealing this stuff  . Or one of the insiders/VIP is a snitch

I don't mind Ubisoft being on Facebook. Of course, I'm biased, they posted my townscreen showcases in there. Such a nice thing to do.
On a side note, that is going pretty far out of the thread's subject just to rag on Ubi some more.

Why should they stop ? They've been releasing "weeks of ..." for 6 monthes before they released H6. The world doesn't stop turning just because they postponed the game ... also like someone else said before the postpone rumors, for a game that is supposed to be released on February, 28th, Ubi has been quite silent.
Well, maybe now that they got some of the pre-orders money, they can restart fuelling us with some infos

Abilities, Dungeon heroes, the 3 buildings, the missing neutral(s ?), the last Dungeon unit (except for the pic we still have no description of the chakram lady) and screenshots of the week/month/year. There's still a lot to show.
