Create your own music festival!
Hello Everyone!
Have you ever been to a large music festival in the warmer months or perhaps inside a big, cozy auditorium with many, many others that share similar or identical tastes in your music? Ever thought that your multi-singer music festival had some good artists and bands there, but some of the artists and bands there were terrible and you wished they would have chosen someone better than them? Did you wish that the whole music festival consists of only artists and bands that you liked to listen to or see live?
Then CREATE YOUR OWN MUSIC FESTIVAL! On this thread I want you to list up to 20 of your favourite artists and/or bands that you think would make the PERFECT music festival, and give explanations why. (You can split the bands over two days if you like). You can also name your music festival too, such as GRAND DAY OUT or NAMEFEST or MUSICBAKE or something like that. Give it any name you want.
Here's how you do it (I'll use my choices as an example):
DA's STARLIGHT MUSIC FESTIVAL - Name of the festival
First Half (Day One - The Classics):
1. Elton John
2. Lionel Richie
3. Tribute to Whitney Houston - (You can put dead singers and bands here, the festival will hire look and soundalikes to pay tribute to those singers)
4. Mariah Carey
5. Tribute to ABBA
6. Cher
7. Bananarama
8. Madonna
9. Paul McCartney
10. Tribute to Michael Jackson/the Jacksons
Second Half (Day Two - Contemporary):
11. Britney Spears
12. Avril Lavigne
13. Justin Bieber
14. Destiny's Child/Beyonce Knowles
15. Sean Kingston
16. Backstreet Boys
17. Robbie Williams
18. Katy Perry (I don't know much of her songs, but the ones I know are catchy)
19. Ciara with Missy Elliot
20. Jennifer Lopez
I would now like to hear yours!

Millions from around the world will be eager to watch these artists and tributes perform live. There are more pop and urban music lovers out there than rock, classical, jazz, folk and metal lovers out there. No wonder why Idol concerts sell out like hotcakes, whereas some evil screamo metal band won't pull nearly as much.

I have an idea. It would basically be a music festival combined with Hunger Games. You'd take 10 different groups and have them battle it out in an arena until only one group was left alive. Here's my program for the first day:
1. Elton John
