Agrael's Decision
I just can't get past this map, I can't remember how I did it the last time I played it either. No matter what I do there's always lots or a hoarde of dragons in the final battle and there's no way I can beat them only with my small army + dwellings and pit lords joining.
Any tips?

I've just recently finished this map and I didn't have any problems with it.
What's Agrael's level? What about his skills?
With proper skills, tactics and a good army you can clear the map in a short period.
Btw, you should go to the hill fort on the island to the north ASAP and kill the unicorns without taking any losses (gating is very useful here as you won't get much reinforcements on this map).

I did use the hil fort and got all the money from treasure chests but I can't defeat lots of dragons.

I took Luck and Leadership instead of magic skills. You just can't believe what Cerberi can do with Luck and Offence. Not to mention that it gets to attack more often.

I fought about 29 when I arrived there. It's all about knowing when to cast slow and when to send your gated units to take a hit. Using Pit Lords with their Vulnerablity (or whatever it's called) is not a bad idea.

what dragons ? if not black or necro dragons then last stand + dark magic - pupet, frenzy etc

How many weeks have passed when you face the dragons? If you take too much time exploring you may end with a big number of dragons (they grow weekly)

But you have to explore a lot in order to get to them anyway, I'll try to get there faster...
I'm open to any other suggestions.

cast mass slow if you have, if not - frenzy a dragon stack thats not near your troops, or pupet some stack thats up to play, or start casting blind and focus your fire on the remaining stacks.
How much army do you have ? Try to upload the save, so i can play the battle

I don't recall needing too much to explore, but probably I save time some way.
