Conflux lost my saves
When I went to start playing a fan created custom game today, the conflux had lost my saved games. It had one of the daily saves for that game, but not the quicksave nor many other more recent daily saves.
Are these saved games supposed to be on my computer any place? Where could I go looking for them? I know where the non-conflux saves are kept, but not the conflux saves.

I just started up the game from the old save, and it is no longer making any saves -- daily, quick or saves into an empty slot using F6 key.

at 1740, it would make an F6 save and a quicksave -- but was not making the daily saves. And then more weirdness -- the quicksave disappeared and so did my F6 saves. They were there one time, and then later they were gone.

I tried doing one of the final campaign maps -- and there the saves all seemed to work just fine. So far as I can tell, it is just the custom game skirmish saves that have gone weird.
Is anyone else having similar problems with saves on custom games skirmish?
Is there some "no save" option that I might have triggered by mistake?

Have You turned Cloud Sync on by any chance? It used to bug out like this in 1.8, they may not have fixed that. If You did, I'm afraid your saves are gone.

I turned cloud sync off way back when I started playing. I am using 1.8 still. Do you think that 2.1 fixed this? From what I have read, 2.1 fixed some bugs but seems to have introduced more bugs.
From previous experience, would it be worthwhile for me to just start that particular custom game over again. I'm not all that far along in it.

Then I can't help You, sorry  I stopped playing altogether, so IDK what 2.1 fixed.

I tried starting the same custom game over again from the start. It ran quite well, making many daily and quick saves along the way. But then when I tried to resume play this evening, many of those saves were gone.
If anyone knows how to cure this bug, I would appreciate it. Perhaps tomorrow I'll bite the bullet and install 2.1 upgrade.

I believe that I have figured out what the problem is, and how to avoid the lack of saves.
In the game, there is a "main" hero and "secondary" hero(es). If the main hero is not on the board (e.g. he was killed or retreated), then the saves you might attempt (including the daily saves) will not be kept. If you revive the main hero and then save -- all is ok.
