No. I gave Scouting new capabilities. You can reed mod description to know the changes.

"Scrolls with spells can now be disposed of in any time in exchange for mana. If a character has the appropriate literacy skills and wisdom, he may in the destruction of the scroll automatically rewrite his spell book."

How does it work?

@Greeeemlin, do you still have the possibility to work on trees? AVLpntr6.def is identical to AVLsptr7.def, only passability is now fixed from wog 3.58.

Right click on scroll in hero's screen.

You told me you have the tools to animate sod trees, I don't have them anymore. Those animated trees defs are identical now, should be pines and oak:

You can take frames in avlpntr5.def and frames in avlpntr4.def and fold it. And you get avlpntr6.def

Yeah, he can get rather annoying about. 6 days I try to run away from his red  messages, but he caught me on HCM, no hole to escape.

it's not the original h3 def, but it certainly looks better than the other version. thanks, gremlin! now, a question, if i may be so bold...

since you have the tools needed, would you mind sharing them, with a brief explanation of how to do what you did? reason being, i want to animate all the foliage in h3(with the beautiful animation that i have seen here), even the stuff from hota. if you have the tools and the know-how, you could teach me, and i'll do all the work.

hell yeah i can get annoying. when i want something, i make every effort to get it. if i gotta play the part of the drip-water torture, that's what i'll do.

@ sal: yeah, you should remember that sky island. you posted a screen of it, and i cut it out and made my own sky islands, remember? as for the tower, i think i tried cutting it down to size, and it didn't work. will give it another go. thanks.

@ gremlin: yeah, that's what i need, that smooth-*** animation tool/addon/plugin. if it comes with instructions, cool. if not, you could tell me the basics, and i could figure the rest out. also, what program are you using it with?

This program only for making smooth frames. To animate static trees need another program. I couldn't find suitable program for it.

i'm confused. the last one you did, you combined two 1-stack defs to make a 2-stack, but the edges where they meet aren't messed up. how'd you do it right, if you don't have the tools?
