HoMMizing the HC Members
Okay, as most of you know in H3, the heroes have 8 secondary skill slots and you have to choose from 28 skills and fill them in. What we'll do here is, you'll pick a fellow HC member (not yourself) and fill his/her slots with 8 of the skills below. As in the game, you can only pick 8 and you will then degree the skills as Basic, Advanced or Expert. Like all necromancers starting with the Necromancy skill, all members from US, UK and Australia start with Advanced English, if you think someone is exceptionally skilled in the way he uses the language, you can give him Expert English, Advanced is considered the mother tongue level. Here are your skills:
Insight
Logic
Wisdom
Humor
Friendliness
English
Tolerance
Coolness
Fun
Imagination
Resourcefulness
Spam (as in creates quality spam)
Empathy
Patience
Gayness (don't overuse this to make the same joke ten times)
Objectivity
Helpfulness
Knowledge (general knowledge including life experience)
Scholarliness (the person seems to be well-educated)
Tenacity
Gravity
Sincerity
Simplicity (the talent to simplify things)
Energy
Solidarity
Nobility
Courage
Intelligence
As examples, I'll do Salamandre and Mvassilevv
Salamandre: Advanced Humor/Expert Helpfulness/Basic Logic/Advanced Wisdom/Advanced Simplicity/Expert Coolness/Advanced Imagination/Expert Resourcefulness
Mvassilev: Advanced English/Expert Logic/Basic Fun/Advanced Tenacity/Basic Scholarliness/Basic Objectivity/Basic Courage/Advanced Simplicity

I'm not that friendly, (note that Basic Friendliness is still higher than not having the skill at all, just like H3). I would definitely replace it with Expert Logic if I was doing myself. Get real Mvass, you more skillful in logic than me, in your dreams And level up that intelligence to Advanced.

I've given this a go and have to say it was hard; many things are very close.
Just remember; it's a view coming from the cheap-seats. It is very hard to read see/read others. But, in the spirit of gaming:
Artu
Expert = Tenacity, Sincerity, Logic and Energy.
Advanced = Scholarliness, English and Knowledge
Basic = Imagination
Drakon-Deus
Expert = Energy, Imagination
Advanced = Tenacity, Sincerity and Scholarliness.
Basic = Knowledge, Courage and Patience
gnomes2169
Expert = Empathy, Energy and Imagination,
Advanced = Courage, Patience and Sincerity,
Basic = Humor and Knowledge.
<imo> Anyone that's young is "usually (by default)" below Basic-knowledge since life-issues naturally require some related-experience. So by my use here, I intend that Basic-Knowledge reflects something very
Btw, Artu a couple of thoughts, how about Scholarship instead of Scholarliness? Diplomacy instead of English? <imo> You and many others here have lang-skills that most american english speakers do not possess. Just a thought. Lastly, Nobility? I like it but what do you see as its use here?
Cheers to thread

@markkur
Nobility here, of course isn't blue blood. In the dictionary, the closest meaning to the one I intended here is this, a little exaggerated though:
4.nobleness of mind, character, or spirit; exalted moral excellence.
It's kind of like being the bigger man and letting things go...etc etc.
You'd have Expert Nobility, if I had done you.
Diplomacy would have been valid as a separate skill instead of replacing English, it would have been a nice one too, but maybe too much with both Friendliness and Tolerance out there. I wanted to keep it 28 skills like in the game.
I also thought about replacing English with Language but then I decided not to; somebody may have excellent linguistic talents but unless it's in English, unfortunately they are meaningless here. In an international platform, we are stuck with the lingua franca of our age. The solution I found was reserving Expert level to people with exceptionally good, creative or delicate English. Blizz is Expert English for example, so is Corribus but for totally different reasons.
Btw, two people including you filled one of my slots with Advanced English. Not being a native speaker, I must say thanks for the compliment but I must also confess I use the spelling correcter of the browser a lot. In Turkish consonants are rarely lined up, so its hard for me to remember spellings like psychology or Egypt, I also get confused with words that also exist in my language. It's antropoloji for me, I always forget where to put the H, while writing in English.
Scholarship or scholarliness, people can use whichever one they prefer. Scholarship reminds me of the other meaning you know, exceptional students getting money from the state during collage.

Well thank you. I do make the effort to give people some space; we all need some consideration at times. Btw, the older I get the more I am content with advanced...anything; although I might accept the expert tag about my land-crafting skills in the H5 editor. However, even there, I do keep getting better at making mountains.<L>

Very true, you do already have a large list.

No matter how you get there, you produce a fine product. I can promise you that my Turkish is a tad shy of your English. In this case "tad = from here to Pluto" My international language skills are; Spanish, donde esta su banjo?, er banyo? and in German, Zwie Dinkel Akers bitten. I'm sure they're aweful but I will get the beer and bathroom.

Wait... basic humor? Awwwwr... But anyway, thank you Mark. A stunningly positive review, though English appears to be lacking. I know there are only eight slots, so that's fine, but I can has engrish skillz... *Shot*

I did say "from the cheap seats". It's probably just me but you seem much more serious than when you first joined. It's only an impression, it's not like; we be clubbing mon.<L> I've probably just missed your fun.
Rule of thumb, I say something good?...take it to the bank, however if I share something that sounds even slightly negative... then dismiss it as pure geezer-balderdash. Yup, you just heard a truly amazing word combo,.
