Game of the Year 2013: Discussion
I know we've got some more ground to cover before we get there, but figured we'd start the discussion now
What do you think will be game of the year 2013?
Best graphics?
Best story?
Best soundtrack?
Best gameplay?
Best genre games (strategy, first-person shooter)?

I agree that this was a duller year in gaming, but there were still amazing games:
Bioshock Infinite
GTA V
Payday 2: The Heist
And I hear that 'The Last Of Us' Was pretty good; never played it though.

GTA V I suppose, the pinnacle of one of the greatest series, and it squeezed out all the juices from current gen...
So like, GTA V covers 4 of the five points...
Genre wise, I would vote for Fire Emblem Awakening for best TBS. Not the best in the series for me, but it's still Fire Emblem so...
Other then that, any other genres do not interest me, if you can count Pokemon X & Y as an RPG I suppose I can vote for it.
So to sum it up:
Best Game: GTA V
Best TBS: FE Awakening
Best RPG: Pokemon X & Y

Oh yeah, right! My mistake, time flies doesn't it? Release was in November 2011...
Actually, if you count the late 2013 PS3 release date of DLC's it makes the game a 2013 PS3 GOTY

the game of the year hasn't been released yet. Call of Duty Ghosts
well, actually I haven't been impressed by the videos...
is bioshock infinite actually funnier than bioshock 2? it has to be one of the slower paced FPS I played.
I bought one game this year and it is red faction 2. I play the PS2 more than the current gen. I didn't play GTA V (or IV) but I wouldn't be surprised if San Andreas was funnier.

Seriously? COD Ghosts? It's a dead series (hence 'ghosts'). Every year they release the same game with a few new additions and features. Definitely not GOTY

Everyone have their own opinion. 
Poly, Duel of Champions isn't from this year, but Duel of Champions: Herald of the Void definitely is.
For me, probably DotA 2 and Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm.
That said, I don't play or watch too many games, I am multiplayer kind of a guy, so I am barely playing any game just for campaign...
