Issues with Forum Members
As a reminder, if you have issues with another forum member, the appropriate course of action is to send a moderator a personal message and state your complaint. After investigating the issue, the moderator will then make the determination if the complaint is to be dismissed or if further action is required.
It is completely inappropriate to create a thread asking the moderators to ban/silence/punish/et cetera another member. It sets a dangerous precedent; the member will feel ostracized, a lynch-mob mentality may develop, and the forum may lose a member without even trying to hear their side of the alleged events.
In the event such threads are created, they will be closed, documented, and deleted.
