Might and Magic X, finally!
Ahh, after playing heroes kingdoms, heroes online, and more or less 'salvaged' versions of the classic games, I'm happy to see MMX available on steam. Downloading/installing it now.
I know some have been playing the first campaign on beta versions, but I wanted to wait until the game was truly done to immerse into it.
I've been brought up with the M&M series back in the days of Might and Magic III (eg Clouds of Xeen), way before heroes, and other games like Dungeonmaster for the Atari ST, Bard's Tale, Wizardry, Ultima Underworld... all first person driven RPG's that got me into hardcore gaming.

I am really looking forward to it. But that might take longer than I anticipated, my pc is fried and my schedule has become more hectic than ever.
I am really interested in your impressions, drop by after you've gotten a taste

My first impressions are quite positive. Game managed to keep my attention even over lengthy periods of time. It stands as well crafted game, and welcome addition to the series.
Hopefully game will gather enough interest to rejuvenate the unjustly dead turn based rpg genre.

I actually replayed the game 4 times before I actually finished the game. First time I wasn't satisfied with my build, and restarted from the middle. The second time my main computer died and I lost my save literally one step away from the endgame, and the third time a major game stopper bug near the endgame forced me to replay the entire game again.
Very fun, addicting game, but there are some major bugs that can stifle the enjoyment factor. Primitive too, but for us oldschool players it was a fun nostalgic and addicting return.

I think that's the point I'd be going to the internet to see the ending. This actually happened to me in the PS3 version of Ni No Kuni. The last battle was like over a half hour long or something and my party was wiped out when the final boss had about 1% health remaining. I was like, "screw that" and watched the ending on YouTube.

I expect them to make another DLC, just like H6.
More than that, however
