the balance of life

what i mean by the "balance of life" is: should you work hard all time? should you play all time? should you balance between both? ok sure, a hard worker should be thanked for all his hard work but at least from time to time someone has to relax, drink a cup of cofee and browse HC, demanding knowledge and jokes, i mean, if you're not gonna relax in the end, what's the point of all the sweat you've shed, the tire your body took, the lack of sleep you had, all that to feed your family, but you also have the right to enjoy your time with your family, play some games, share some jokes and insights with people, do some chit-chat, eat some hot pizza, etc.

BUT you also shouldn't isolate yourself from the world, sitting there, playing games all time and doing nothing but satisfy your hunger for fun, cause trust me that will ultimately be your downfall, why? well it's simple, you don't even try hard, you don't try to win your living, all you do is sit there in a chair, playing that little game but let me get to a point, fun can also become boring. how? simply too much fun, for example, you get bored eating pizza all time, and so is gaming. you need to both enjoy your life with family and friends and also work hard.

if you really care about friends and family and mostly social status, you have no option but to keep the balance between working hard and ENJOYING GAMES HARD. the point is, you just can't, choose only one of the two. doing so much hard work would tire you until it evnetually breaks your body, drains it from sweat and so. while just sitting there, gaming like an idiot won't make you a living, it won't feed you. work is something of high priorty and necesity, let's say you don't care about yourself, you only care about the sake of your family, working hard wouldn't just earn YOU money, it helps the people around you(i'm sick of saying family all time so i said the people around you) survive at higher chances, it makes sacrifice of precious things un-needed, it makes the people around you live more luxury and enjoy being with you. and i'll get to another point in your life, make sure to supply as high amount of money as you can if you are the one that feeds your family cause in case you died, your family and children would starve to death, children might not even be born yet so things would literally end before they even get to a beginning.

life is a test of endurance, life will throw many hardships and tough moments at you, hoping that you survive them and take the next step towards perfect survival, luxury and maybe even fame or respect, it  solely depends on you, if you took a choice, hesitation and fear are only an obstacle, and if the problem purely depends on chance and luck, no matter how low the chance, if you have to do something out of necesity, go for it, at least it's better than staying there like an idiot who knows to do nothing. like i said, it really depends on you and solely YOU, no matter the conditions you were born in, continue to run and run towards what you think is an exit from poorness, for you will probably reach safety and your efforts and hard work will be rewarded greatly. and another note about life: it's really, really pointless to have servants and slaves, if you have to do something you must do it yourself, if you find yourself alone with none to help you with these servants of yours gone your probability of surviving is very low if not zero. thanks and that is what i can say.

note: MY GOD I HATE HOW PEOPLE JUST DON'T FIND THEIR SPEECH IN MY THREADS! and this happens in my threads only, they don't discuss, they don't agree/disagree, they don't post different opinions, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR SPRIRITS? it's not about mood, you just are uninterested and i just, REALLY, REALLY hate how people judge a book by it's ****ing cover, why were covers even made in first place, decoration? lies? flawing the readers ideas with wrong influence about the book? JUST SPEAK ALREADY!

Well, some people seam to be unable to just "relax and have fun", see how Salamandre transformed being part of a community of gamers in a mission for life and how serious he was about his work here, be it the maps he created or the help he provided in "ERM help and discussion".
And see how he looked at people who are here just to have some fun without too hard work.

And then there are people like you and me.
People that really seam to be unable to put a real effort to acomplish something, are impacient and talk (post) without some kind internal censor, something that would allow them to publish only things that would make them proud in the future; instead of asking a moderator "Can u please delete some of the stupid threads I've been creating during the last months" like I did yesterday.

Truth is motivation does wonders. I'm an uncoordinated person but was a reasonable surfer for long because I love the sensation so much I wasn't quiting so easly as I did with almost everything else, including my "real life" carrier.

I think virtue is somewhere in the middle.

The reason people don't fill your threads will replyies is simply because they are not interesting, like the one u copy pasted today for newcomers (is FAC's text but is less fancy) or the building tactics for Dungeon u posted without a critical reading...

U should read "Men talk about girls" to get a feeling of what is needed to make a blockbuster.

Something like that. You essentially said that people shouldn't be no-lifers and that having slaves is bad. This isn't exactly a revelation.

so, are you trying to convince yourself to work?

do you have personal examples?

I don't believe in efforts and hard work being greatly rewarded. unless maybe you are talking about a sense of accomplishment, or something like that. the problem is that the money has to come from someone. and from what I see, people love receiving money much more than giving it.

i don't have personal examples, but elvin does, and by the end of the month(like he said in the QP hunting thread) he will be a homeless man, without a work or a house but the house comes second so, he can hide whatever he can...
