Hmm. How would you guys like to meet interesting characters along your way? I'm asking since I don't want to drop into the RP and then out as I'm not sure I have the time or the will to follow through completely?

Name: Zviel Mikhail
Race: Jøgrungär, a humanoid race in the verge of extinction originating from some northern isles, basically ice people who can resist frost but are weaker in hotter climates.
Biography: Mikhail is the third son of Zviel Jotunär, bibliotecary of the village of Znat. During his childhood he was educated in the arts of frost magic although he was more interested in practicing the art of the sword. After some years a group of outsiders discovered this village and started studying the people who lived there, Mikhail was pretty intrigued by the strangers' knowledge and when he found out what laid beyond his home he started preparing himself for the adventure that was there. Fast-forwarding some more years he was disowned by his father and declared an outlaw for his services to these strangers.
Age: Relatively young
Appearance: A tall and slender being with pale skin, black hair and beard with streaks of white and white glowing eyes, some parts of the face are covered in ice.
Class: Battle-mage with more skill in melee fighting.
Inventory: Fur robes, leather boots and gauntlets, a chainmail hauberk, an iron greatsword and a steel dagger, a small spellbook, some hunting tools.
Special abilities: Basic ice magic, resistane to frost, weakness to fire.
As a sidenote, the Jøgrungär are meant to live up to three centuries,
their homeland was destroyed as a result of a volcanic eruption.

There's one thing that needs to be fixed, and that is his homeland. As I've stated in the OP, Dwarves are the only sentient beings on Baktor and as such there are no others.
However, since this is freeform,
you can make your own part of the world where this race can live.
Just saying.

Well, that decision was made since they are ice people, but since I can make them a custom homeland...
I need some time, if I come up with something I'll modify the character page and make a post with the modifications...

Gave it a go. The char's description's in the narrative, that's why the post's a tad longer.
I didn't feel orcs and goblins were brutish enough, so I went with a half-ogre. It said ogres were unplayable, figured no one mentioned half-breeds. I prefer not to dwell on the details of how exactly the mixture happens, and will not be held responsible for any mental scarring you might incur if you ask.

@Bak: well those that played Arcanum and did the half finished siamese twin skulls quest had the idea of how human/ogre hybrids come to life.
But I guess your char is an orc/ogre hybrid?
Also, I smell a lawsuit from Games Workshop.  you sly dog you...

That mission's definitely somewhere at the top of my most disturbing list, right next to Ocean's View hotel and the Tzimisce bits in Bloodlines.

oh 'cmon there's a bigger market for Warhammer in Serbia than here. and we're in the bloody EU. crap... Well, I had to sell my TAU army anyways. there's not much going on in terms of tabletop games in here.
