Is it a thing to select all of the good units and put them into different lineups to ensure maximum fanrage after the election?
Seriously. Unicorns and phoenixes in different lineups at sylvan, now manticores and medusas are separated.
Why?

I have nothing against Blades, but I think another rusher faction is not needed right now, because we alerady have Stronghold and Sylvan. We need Faces or Shield to win this

@Joonas. Something iconic (Minotaur) + Something old (Manticore/Medusa/Nightmare) + something new (Strider/Faceless) is a decent formula imho.

Why?
Because making one line up glaringly superior to the other two and thus giving the fanbase one obvious choice to vote for is stupid and defeats the point of a vote.

Some thoughts I had (as I've not chosen yet):
Assassin/Shade; Skirmisher/Darkblade; Stalker/Tracker: The core DE units. 1 or 2 DE units, I don't see a big difference.
The Assassin is a symbol of the Ashanese Dungeon and it's hard to get ride of it. And, well, he comes from the rogue.
The stalker, beside being a crossbow shooter (I liked the chakrams but oh well), is lightly defined and bland as it is.
Darkblade is the new fury. And it visibly evolved from the copypasta of Heroes V. I like the mechanic but as presented, They insists to much on them being negative of Blade Dancers and so calling comparaisons. Perhaps they should get ride of this "dark reflections of the Sylvan Blade Dancers" and present them more as their own things doing their turfs their way.
Shadow Lurker/Shadow Watcher: One of the Dungeon unit I liked from H6 and the continuation of the Evil Eye of old. Nothing wrong as it is. (less purple perhaps ?)
Troglodyte/Chthonian: This little critter seems to have some good abilities (burrowing). But God, I hated this unit in Heroes 3 and 4, considering it as bland, uninspired and without charm. If he is selected, I hope it evolves greatly.
Shadow Unicorn/Nightmare: I like it. As said earlier he's linked to Darkness and so Malassa and is in fact a return to the roots (The Mare of the Night as in this [url=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/8d/Johann_Heinrich_F%C3%BCssli_053.jpg]example[/url]) and to the first Nightmare. But why do they think that it's a good idea to make of it a corrupted Unicorn ?
Even if Darkness is known on Ashan to "convert" living things, it really looks like a lazy design of "Evil Unicorn". why not to create directly a Darkness Equivalent ?
And yes, "Nightmare" from Inferno should be its own thing... Hell Charger, Hell Stallion, what you want.
And lack of illustration is bad.
Medusa/Medusa Sorceress: I like it as a unit. But I have problems with how it is introduced inside Dungeon. Oshiro's people became part of the Dark Elf Kingdom ? Fine. You have Nagas in Dungeon...
Priestess, Kenshei and the like.
We needed an unit from these people ? Fine, we choose a priestess.
You can even convert them to Malassa (they'll not be the first) even if I don't think it should be an obligation. After all, Dungeon is some kind of asylum grouping all different sort of "misfits".
But I really don't know how you would link such a creature to Medusae as defined on Ashan (and 2 lines upper in her description).
And to shoehorn "but some of them also turn to Malassa" doesn't change anything.
They are individual priestess exiled (or with a little group), something Oshiro's people was not, and running amok trying to destroy because they thinks they need to.
It simply does not match as is.
Beside, an arc is perhaps not a good idea.
Faceless/Faceless Assassin: It's a faceless. Nothing more, nothing less. I see no problem with it being Elite. It is a good unit but I think Ubi could do better with it.
Strider/Soulless: A debuff unit as it is, but I can't really say what's "really inside" and if it's good or bad. Void is the word. The lack of illustration is bad.
Manticore/Scorpicore: A stapple of Dungeon, and one of the Dungeon unit I liked from H6. Nothing wrong as it is. (less purple perhaps ?)
Ah yes, and Cave Hydra/Dark Hydra will rock.

Agree. Imo, nightmares are more welcome than striders in dungeon. One of the reasons I'm voting blade. I'm also not a big fan of trogs. :S
hoping for less purple beholder too.

I have a hard time imagining a horse being comfortable in an underground cave environment.
It also doesn't seem to fit with any other creature in the line-up.

Changed my vote to Shield. I love Medusas, but Evil Eye, Manticore and less elves are more appealing. I hate dark elves.
Edit: Either way the outcome, I'm happy with Faces too. I will probably change my mind ten times before the end though.

YES! I hope it stays like that and cheating doesn't have any impact. Sorry faces, you're my second favorite but against blade it SHOULD be an easy win.

Finally shield has a chance.
I can only hope that it is not due to cheating. But the others gaining extra votes through false accounts is just as likely.
Either way it is going to end, blade is going to get crused in the second round.
