That was my original point yes, they are basing the heroes off of Falcon Empire designs but the units do not follow. War-Overlord's statement; however, of most Heroes being mercenaries would solve this to a certaint extent.

I would say it the other way around though, the heroes do not follow the units designs

No I don't it just irks me that Haven was designed off a single duchy rather than something more flexible. Don't get me wrong I think it looks great but it can not be strapped to every one of the major players in the campaign as they are all from Haven.
I don't know whether Seamus would get one but Ivan for his missions would get griffins so that they would suit better than Wolves, so consistency would still be persisted.

You could say that to; however, as much as I like the new units aesthetic I would prefer something that can cover more duchies than one.

True, but the human troops would still look like Wolf-duchy soldiers. One could claim that Ivan leads an army of Wolf-mercs, but I'd call that a bit of a cop-out.

Maybe we'll get that through different classes, is hard not to hope or speculate, as Storm-Giant said, there is still much to be revealed.

I don't have as much problem with the heroes as much as the units if the heroes are dressed as servants of the Falcon Empire and then so should the units. This would allow greater coverage as all duchies are a part of the empire.

While I'm wholeheartedly interested in fights for the Holy Empire's throne, I still don't like the fact that out of sudden, there are members of every faction supporting the protagonist.
I mean, duke of the Griffin allying himself with Angels and Mages? Okay, that does fit the lore as we know it. But Necromancers and Orcs? Do these faction really belong in Holy Griffin Empire's history as allies?

Not to the empire as a whole, but to a single man vying for the throne who has at least semi-decent relationships? I can see that. At the very least, I could see this as an alliance of "If we help you, could you stop people from attacking us, at least for the period of your reign?"

sorry devs, ubisoft is the blame. someone needs to save this serie from ubisofts decisions.

Anastasya was reshown. That's the key term -'reshown'. In august, when we could see her for the first time, no one gave a damn about her but now, when nothing new is presented, everybody loses their minds...

I love how people can change mind from positive to negative on minimum information they get.
Old Anastasya art was shown on official blog and suddenly entire game is unplayable?
How shallow you have to be to say that entire series is in jeopardy because of few reskinned creatures?
And what about all that gameplay over graphic talk? Now suddenly look of few creatures can ruin a game for you?
I guess some people just like to make drama or whine.

Also, last I checked, "actively looking for potential flaws" =/= "jumping to conclusions on minimal information and crying 'ruined forever' for no reason."
Even if that were the case, "similar artwork to previous game" is a pretty flimsy "potential flaw."

I'd say that's a pretty big flaw, since a "new coat of paint" makes a game seem more fresh.

If few reskinned Necro creatures can change your opinion from positive to negative about entire game that surely is sign of shallowness, immaturity and love for drama on forum.
Here is very popular to overblow your personal opinion, like its opinion of majority, about feature and then claim that entire game, or better yet, franchise is ruined and of course then threaten not to buy it.
Its really obvious how few people can take any feature, twist it in negative way, massively blow it out of proportion and then whine.
