dude, two-face and Gauldoth are nothing alike. i can imagine he's more based around (as stated somewhere else) Hel of norse mythology.

You know, I think we have very little details about the expansion plot, particularly about Fortress campaign of Fortress expansion (!) and vast majority of Sanctuary expansion.
That being said, judging by what we have... do most agree with my vision so far, or does someone have some alternatives? I don't want to dominate this thread too much, by posting my ideas alone... 
I originally excluded Haven, Fortress and Academy fully from the plot of Sanctuary expansion, but now that I think about it, it could be that Haven is briefly involved during the first mission of the Sylvan campaign. It takes place after the events of Heroes V... which means that renegades of the Griffin Empire, Caldwell and Randall, as well as Freyda and Laszlo's campaign against them could take place at the same time. That being said, I'm not sure if that would be worth it. Haven would appear in the first mission only to be wiped out by another Haven and to never have this faction appearing in the Sylvan campaign again...?
Well, technically Haven could have reappeared in the Sanctuary campaign, since in Heroes V's expansion nothing was mentioned about the state of things in the Wolf Duchy, but...
It's exactly like I said. I'm having a hard time coming up with any specifics about these ideas.
EDIT: On a side note, I feel like my subconsciousness completely ignores that most of these ideas won't make it into the game - I keep feeling these decisions here matter. A pity, really.

You actually dominate this topic a lot
As for My opinion. The Naga expansion doesn't have to be in any recent period and could focus on the Sayama Nagas or Shanria nagas (more or less independent naga societies living on glaciers in the Dragon cassway or In the mountains of Sahaar)

Obviously - after all I did put them on literally the last spot in priorities list. Personally, should the plot go the way I wrote it, I'd want Fortress expansion to go first, should it not include these events, I look forward to Inferno more.
Updated the OP - I also started to put the person who came up with the idea next to it.

what about my awesome idea of Sandro succeeding to eliminate Asha and reach other worlds, actually backed up in the games? then again I guess that's technically a destructive contribution lol

Well, by Heroes V he's already dead. Cyrus killed him, which kinda is the very event I based my idea for the Fortress expansion on.
Not sure if that should be the end of him - I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't want to get stuff like this retconed, in "this character who died didn't actually die, because he's so awesome" way. That being said, Sandro and Crag Hack are known for appearing in every game so at least a mention would be nice, or possibly even someone to carry Sandro's legacy in Heroes VIII.
Crag Hack could also resurface since it's an orc name for people that are believed to be the reincarnation of the legendary warrior - but that would make it the fourth different Crag Hack in the series, kinda.

Worry ye not, Gelu is way too weird and nonconform for Ashan standards.
Such a shame though, we could've had Gelu and Kilgor return.

Please, everyone knows what you mean. Ending worlds one after another continuously using exactly the same method is a really cheap move.
That being said, I'm not hoping for Gelu either, especially considering that his role in an Ashan storyline could be replaced by any determined and stubborn Ranger...
One another character it could be interesting to see reappear is Gem however, but with a twist of sorts. I couldn't help but feel that her Heroes IV biography suggested that she would eventually become a Necromancer, seeking to maintain her youth and life at any cost. It could be interesting to see her appear first as a Sylvan hero in Heroes VII and then in the game after - as a vampiric Necropolis hero.
