just wondering why some threads aren't in the vw
i found this thread in the tavern, and was wondering why it has survived this long, instead of being jettisoned into the vw and eventually deleted years ago. maybe it was a different era back then? anyway, i'm sure there's more than just this one thread that is taking up unnecessary space on HC's server. just wanted to bring this potential issue to the mods' attention. i don't know how threads + server space/memory works.

Also, I think my Post Like&Dislike thingy needs to go to the VW... I mean, sure, there is some serious discussion, but none agrees + it's inactive so... Yeah I think it should either be sent to the VW or deleted...

I'm under the impression that the VW was created in 2003. It already existed by the time I registered in October of that year, but it was nearly empty (the only memorable thread was "HC Satellite", which suggested that HC should buy a satellite) and all the word games were in Tavern.

When I was given the task of modding the OSM, one of first things I did was a general thread purge. Quite an undertaking but worth it, I think.

Whoops. My math is off. I blame the fact I've had about 20 hours of sleep in the last 4 days. I thought there were 30 a page instead of 20. So only a little under 3,000 threads then...
