May I ask why everybody choose "Logistics" as the best specialty to have?
I mean, it might get you "move further", but it did not actually "make you stronger".
So I don't really know the reason as to why everybody loves that skill?
Somebody please be so kind and enlightens me, much appreciated!

The answer is that Logistics makes it faster for your heroes to get stronger. Also, the more movement points you have, the earlier you take key strategic objects on a map such as towns, mines, etc.

If you want be goal in the deepest variation by supercomputer analyzed chess variations went through and received an answer is draw.
The explanation was e.g. both heroes have 99 Primary Skills also the same skills, spells and both heroes have 600 Azure Dragons. But different specialities, thus Sorcery, Offense, Armorer and Resistance are the best, but if timeline, etc then the best is Logistics. You forgot the draw game, because supercomputer builds many heroes. If one hero with Logistics without timeline against Offense, etc I don't recommend, I don't want to believe Intelligence. Remember teamwork.
Then and now chess computer by L. Pachmann wrote FIDE-Revuessa chess magazine 1960.
1MHz would need calculation to get an answer is 17,000 years.
1000x faster machine needs 17 years.
Yes soon.
I want to know everyone HoMM variations, if WoG cave knows how create strong AI. Because today machine has enough power.

I mean, this has a certain influence, but it isn't the REAL reason
The real reason is that logistics allows you to dictate the terms of the encounter.
A hero with logistics can outrun one without it both on the offensive AND while escaping.
The Logistics specialist will be able to catch an oppossing hero any time, while a non-logistics hero will never be able to catch it (unless it stupidly takes slow troops such as Dendroids)
Since H3 games are normally decided in a single main hero vs main hero battle, this is extremely important.

I don't think it's that important. For this you have Dimension Door, Fly, Town Portal, and Water Walk. And Logistics won't help you against attacks from the uncharted territory. Then, you always have objects which increase your movement points. So, my opinion is that Logistics is all about getting stronger (power, economy) in less time.

A) Logistics specialists don't just specialize in the skill, they also simply start with it. It's super valuable, because it basically extends the turn of your hero, so you can imagine that having such snowballing skill from the get-go is beyond good. The heroes can do more fights, collect more valuables, reach more objectives and so on.
B) The specialty makes things even more crazy. A level 20 hero will have the normal amount doubled, so if your opponent doesn't have Logistics even at that point, your main hero (the specialist) will be doing 60% more stuff during their turn compared to the poor opponent.
C) Despite there being many heroes with many different specialties, the list of top tier specialties isn't really all that long, you can easily point out the few exceptionally good ones.

I never found a problem with the Logistics skill, heroes that specialise in it or maybe even start with it, is another story though...

Newer players don't find the logistics skill very useful, but once you master the game it becomes crucial.

I can't say so.. Players have a different development and strategy.. One good example:
Blind (WoG/ERA) map is coming soon!
Ok you can see map's difficulty. Yes you're right, when impossible map still I disabled Boots of Speed, Pathfinding, etc, and bonuses to MP/TE players, when Seer's Huts set a player a task, if player wants to get a Boots of Speed, for example. It requires practices. And you know AIs use DD, Fly and TP. Remember who is player used to without, so player can play this map or HotA.

In SoD I would choose offense or logistics. Like it was said, logistics give us the advantage, our hero is harder to catch and we can cover more distance (despite rough terrain or other penalties). Offense, if used correctly, can change the result of the battle to our favor. But choosing one of these, is killing all the fun (while playing against cpu). I would pick them as the best, but I avoid playing those heroes, just to give cpu some chance.
In HotA interference seems to be quite interesting. I like it more than resistance, so Giselle is worth considering.
