Not exactly, I'd say multiplayer is just another symptom of the underlying issue. Ubisoft has recently taken a liking to launch unfinished and buggy products. It's appalling, considering how this is not an alpha or beta but the release version, and that you even have to pay a full AAA price for it which also includes playtesting work from your part. You pay for a bad product and you pay to make it better at the expense of your time and nerves. I sincerely hope that any company using this marketing model goes under, Ubisoft in particular.

Have stupid question I am sure....
But if I want to play online with my Son against each other.. does that mean we have to buy 2 copies of the game?

Yes. You can't run the same Uplay account on two computers simltaneously.

My arena map is very fun, already played 5-6 games hotseat but unfortunately scripts for player 2 don`t work in multiplayer - UPLAY.
We reached the final conclusion: map is ready but game is not ready for our map.

I expected as much. Give it a couple of patches  Do you have any logs on map details regarding spells, armies, artifacts etc?

What do u mean logs? I will record a game between us so u can see how it goes.
This arena is not the one I played in H5 - it gives the feel of full map game end fight.
You have 3 Relics, 6 Majors ,etc.., full magic guild with specialization you choose and two of each spell shrines( unskilled, novice, expert,master) as if you have two castles.
Also two arenas and the same for magic stats I forgot its name(aka library of enlightment).
You can have a variety of armies by choosing between specialization on druids or on dancers or balanced = more or less half of them each.
Everything is calculated for maximum build-up week 5 end fight and second castle is take day 3 week 1. Stronghold doesn`t have prerequisites for creatures so they are with the largest army.
Also I have goodies for the following factions:
- Dungeon - artifact merchant outside town - when you enter it you receive 1 relic, 2 majors, 3 minors for free. (real merchant is broken I already discussed that)
- Academy - near shrines there is a box of scrolls giving you 2 Master, 2 Expert and maybe lower rank but I forgot
- Necropolis - chamber of necromancy outside of town - giving you Banshees and Skeleton Hoplites. If you have Amu Of Necros it gives you even more 
Everything is pretty neat, when you right click on new adventure map objects I put there is description(both active/inactive), floating texts that you receive artifacts and so on.

I tried both online and LAN (with Hamachi) configurations yesterday as a first mutliplayer test.
In both games the game blocked:
- during the second battle for online configuration
- at the end of battle for Hamachi configuration but we were able to play one week and a half...
There was some "out of synch" going around without direct (who knows?) apart the text display.
Needless to say that it was pretty frustrating but reading all previous comment, I was somehow prepared for the worst...
I'll play hotseat against myself to do some tests and checks some mechanic bugs in the coming days.

Well, I played the campaigns, did a lot of skirmish maps vs. AI, now waiting for actual multiplayer. Bored of solo. Maybe I'll get Endless Legend from steam and play that for now.

I tried 2 times, getting out of sync and game freezing during and after battle...
I am waiting the next patch to play multiplayer again...

I'm enjoying the single player game much more than H6. However, working multiplayer seems really far away at this point.
