Version 1.6 is out and, available to download, now.
Well...There it is. Version 1.6 is now, here.
I did the whole Tutorial as it was flashing as to alert all players of this game's newest addition of a feature.
Found it quite detailed with a surprise new feature. This feature is that the creature dwelling in the town's area of control becomes automatically included in the creature pool for availability for immediate hiring and garrisoning it in the town's garrison slots.
Along into this tutorial is: A full explanation as a how-to use the many facets of the many types of attacks and defenses it now offers on these new battlefields + sieges battles. The narrator clearly states the advantages of group attacks as much as a bonus of extra defense capabilities in the grouping position.
Obviously, the new player will have to learn to group the units solely for reinforced defences might actually put them in danger for a very powerful several hexes in size of a destructive spell.
Shows what to do when an enemy fort got vanquished and auto. razed down. What it takes to rebuild it to your own faction's parameters and, how to send by caravan, troops to such fort afterwards. Failed to mention that forts can gradually hire their own fortifications' garrison and, that a hero with or without troops can join the garrison of such fort.
Conclusion: Found it quite entertaining as I am a veteran of the series and, understands the thoroughness is has to be for the newbies to the game and, series.

You...a comedian...wow...you really are multi-talented.
The devs actually did a tutorial.
Funny enough, though, skipped the possibility of upgrading the unit production and, to show how to upgrade the already hired troops of the garrison of the town(Hero's troops, I mean)

Then apparently you've not been paying attention, since this feature was present ever since the beta of the game. A nice feature, I guess, though a bit weird when the dwelling in question can be quite a bit off, if the AoC is pretty large.

Would have been smarter...
if you had the option to caravan these to the nearest fort of that territory.
I wonder if that is the case in the scenario map of 'Irresponsible War'. After a few weeks, that would make that fort very hard to defeat.
It would have been nice if the fort could have the option of building the 2 arrow towers and the moat. Therefore, turning it into a territorial castle. Maybe in the future version? I really do hope so.

so the one who suggested that regeneration should resurrect, congratulations, you got your win-button  enjoy your game
the weird thing about this now is that regeneration resurrects and acts as heal should act. meaning that if a creature 5/10 hp is regenerated for 8hp it will resurrect one creature and it will go to 3/10 like it should.
I know what we asked about regeneration is more difficult to be done but it was the perfect solution!!!!
regeneration being a tier two spell would allow you to acquire it later on when you'll have an elite creature that needs it more than the cores. and in its place, poison spray could give a little damaging boost to earth magic at the start. now that i think of it this is way easier than making regeneration resurrect (and working correctly).
so again to the person that suggested that it resurrects and to those who took this person seriously, congrats...
why the f*ck can't we agree on smth and then present to the devs? but yeah useless polls and threads for whining are better i guess.
healing on the other hand still acts like ravel had posted. (i'll repost it later)
the animations for time control are still super slow on enemies.
does pathfinding work now? i can't tell.

Hello, is anyone having issues loading Huge maps? Game crashes while loading into one.

Haven't tried this loading of a previously saved map, just yet...
but, I do hope that the devs are, actually, working on this serious game appreciation breaking like bug.
Just make sure that you delete all previous autosaves before making your own custom save of the game.
Read that it somehow works through the opening's council's main window of the game. Through the Load button function. Wonder if it would work if, many custom saves are made for X number of different maps, though.
Anyone has, ever, had the chance at testing this possibility, yet?
