heroes of might and magic: quest for the dragonbone staff (ps2)
When i use my hometrainer, I'll do it in front of my tv. Yesterday there was nothing worth watching on though, dlso i did something weird, put on the PS2 and noticed gaming goes horrible on a home trainer.
Untill i stumbled across the game....i had forgotten about it.
Now, it's not a real HoMM game (allthough devepoped by 3do), it's a remake of the original king's bounty with some good changes, the game lacks some stuff (likeca tutorial really!). But is still quite amusing. Anyone else has tried this game before?

What's your experience with it? Don't know many people who have PS2 to play that.

I have this game for PS2. It's been very long since I played it and as far as I can remember it was'nt very good.
Does'nt have much to do with Heroes, but I guess it's okay and there are some familiar creatures in there.
I guess this review sums it up pretty well:

I loved this game! I'm going to get it again pretty shortly but yes, it is not really heroes. But you can't really play heroes on a console so it's great the way it is. Totally random and fun.

I think it's a fun game actualy, it has some aspects of HoMM and a lot of others as well. The maps are the same but dwllings, treasures, locations etc are always randomly generated which adds some replay ability. You are also allowed to play multiple classes, It's worth a shot, not a great game, but alright nonetheless IMO

I played it years ago when Ps2 was the real deal. Finished it quite fast and was really angry it was so short and the fact that there where no different castles in the game annoyed me.
I did not know anything about Kings Bounty at the time. If I would, otherwise I could have respected it little more.
Safe to say for all heroes fans out there, you have not missed anything if you have not played this game.
Can't consider it as HoMM game but when KB is mentioned I see it somehow in positive light.
