No Objects in Map Editor
Note: I have a legal copy of HoM&M 5 with both expansions
I was trying to make a map, and when I opened the editor I could not place objects. I have it set so images of the objects should appear, however there are none under any filter. Additionally, I can't edit the heroes under map properties. The editor for the original works just fine. I attempted uninstalling and reinstalling Tribes, but nothing changed. Anyone have advice?

Update: I uninstalled ToE, reinstalled, no change. Checked HoF, the map editor was the same way. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything, still no change....Anyone?

That's just bizarre. So you've tried the editor of each game separately(from their respective folders) and only original H5 editor works? Have you patched? Was the map started from scratch or perhaps from an older version? Was the uninstall clean, with every leftover deleted?

This may sound stupid, but try running editor as administrator.

I tried running as admin, nothing changed. There is no file of that name in my data. Thanks anyhow.

Oh and to clear up anything, I opened map editor a while back, and everything was fine; I placed a few creatures and artifacts. I exited and save after that. Then When I went to edit a map, that happened, sooo...Here are some pics:
The first two illustrate the lack of objects (on the right of the screen) and the third shows the lack of heroes in map properties.

Try reinstalling the game completely, but in different folder (if you didn't already).
Did you remove the map that you mentioned earlier? If something was messed up in the map it acts as a mod, and changes the whole game.
This bug is quite mysterious...

Well....Interesting...I ran as admin again, realizing I hadn't after the reinstall, and all systems go....This has been strange. Thanks for all the help everyone! I'll see if it continues to work.

Worst case scenario, try a format.. 
But since a modded map was mentioned, it is possible that it still exists in your recent/temporary files? On rare occasions, a map remains in your recent files but shows ingame as if it is in your map folder! If there is something interfering with your game, it might be there.
