Need some information about Lost Tales of Axeoth
In the Ubi site there is this information:
¡Ö80 new Hall Heroes, based on the original art of Heroes III and IV¡¯s portrait artist, George Almond.
Where are those heroes? Are they only in the campaign. I don't see them as playable.

I'm not entirely sure but it seems that indeed new heroes are Unity campaign exclusive, same as White Tigers.
However IIRC you can export/copy them to other maps via Map Editor.

You do not need to open the maps, just load what is not loaded in map editor and you will get access to all of the Axeoth stuff... even to the Ancients
You will find the Axeoth package under the Mods folder.

The heroes are just their portraits, a nice throwback but nothing more. You can't select them in the normal game. No new hero specials at all...
But I like the Axeoth line ups with no striders or bladedancers

Yup as the Dragon says, just bunch of portraits from H3/H4. But this is what Marzhin said long time ago so nothing new. Because creating cca 80 new heroes would be crazy for just one Marzhin

Guys... what are you saying? Everything is under .upk format or coocked... Nothing can be modified or Visualized.

Use Map Editor (Unreal mode) > load the upk package > create your custom map and place whatever thing from Axeoth on it.
From now on you can modify/replace/adjust it easily.
The only thing you cannot do is to load and "scan" campaign maps (as you said they are cooked).

"Load the upk package", by the import option? I use always the normal editor.

Nope, in Content Browser just find Axeoth package and RMB click on it and select Fully Load and you got it. Or you can RMB on the whole /Visuals folder and Fully Load but this will take a while + throws some errors (just ignore them).
This way you can use even the "Spirit Dragon" model aka Kirin, spider boss from MaMX or scorpion
If you are new to Unreal (advanced) mode editor, you can check my YT channel for some guides: WorldOfHeroes - YouTube

Why is Marzhin so possessed at not including any form of gold generating dwellings?
Played the first and second map of the Lost Tales of Axeoth yesterday and, doomed to say that Arril could not be defeated by my main hero by the cause that I keep running out of gold to hire the troops I have waiting to be hired in their respective creature dwellings.
No towns, no Forts with a minimum of 500 GPs per day, no gold mines and, absolutely no adventure map bound trading post or territorial marketplace for selling the huge amount of raw resources that I gathered throughout the 2 first months of that tiresome exploration of that map.
No carry over the nice army I had on the 1st map to the 2nd map = bad campaign design and implementation.
Plus, I do not have the intention of replaying these super long maps all over again.

Luc..
We're a team setting up the Unity campaign for H4, and we intend to do it better than the H7 version Anyway, I find it interesting to read what might work well and what could've been better in the H7 version. This could give us some ideas, as to what players would like to see being included in the H4 version.

Well...at least, I've summed up pretty much everything that needs to be done in my...
...previous post.
Now, keep this project of yours away from Heroes 7 and, in the Heroes 4 forum thread only.
BTW: The symbol ; + followed by this ) other symbol means this [ ] emoticon in this web site of a forum site.
Good luck to you, anyway. Believe me, you will need +10 luck for that project of yours to succeed.

Stevie, yeah I somehow sensed that.. But as this could be a cross over from H7 to H4 I figured a post was okay, but no worries Luc, I'll just crawl back to the H4 forum. And about the +10 luck, I have plenty of luck boosters

Since it's a cross-over and relates to something released for H7 (as opposed to H4), I personally feel it's in the proper topic / forum section here. Just ignore Luc's somewhat condescending post .

I'm special all right...Probably the only one here whom learnt...
...how to re-appreciate a not so unpopular edition of Might and Magic Heroes. The 6th one that is.
I do claim not supporting anything here at HC but, turns out that I have been supporting the modders' multiple efforts at modding these editions of this wonderful series.
What really helped me out is this wonderfully made O.S. of Windows 10 Home(build 1511). Its compatibility engine is magnificent. Heroes 5.5, Heroes 6:Shades of Darkness and, Heroes 7 ver.1.7.x.xxxx are all currently installed on the very same machine + both Civilization titles and more via the game client of Steam. Even Dos-Box games purchased through GoG.com are playing without any glitches, bugs or, hiccups of any kind.
Currently have 2 games on the Xbox 360 console that are computer rendered board games that are made and published via Ubisoft's game client of Uplay. Both PC and console Ubisoft games sum up to a good 5 games. So, Ubisoft is quite delivering in quality gaming to me, these days anyway.
In conclusion, having and playing 85+% of my 30+ games on two completely different electronic platforms is, quite a special status onto itself.
Have a wonderful start of an early start of the season of Spring, all of you, not so special, gamers.
