Can Heroes change class again?
The manual shows a table of advanced hero classes, which are determined by a combination of two primary skills.. But if you get 3 or 4, can you change class name again, or are you stuck with the class from the first pairing of primary skills?

You can change class.
It depends which are the two primary skills that are mostly built.
I did not experiment yet what is the situation if you built up to the max three or four primary - what is your class then - does it stays the same with the first two max built skills or does it counts the recent max built skills?

it is dynamic...
for example you can change from druid to beast lord and then to archmage, depending on your most developed skills...

Then can you change back to your Beastlord after becoming Archmage? Isn't it a bit pointless to keep changing? What if you enjoyed a particular advanced class for its benefits, then had to see them go when you pick up Scouting? You should be able to choose to stay as a particular class.
Also, do appearances change?

it takes a lot to change classes. One rank in scouting wouldn't change an archmage no matter what. If, on the other hand, you were to have only a couple ranks in the magic skills and then you gained 3 or 4 ranks in scouting, then you'd change classes.
So once you've decided on a direction to take, it's pretty easy to stick with it just by making sure your highest skills are always well-developed. And because each class always gets offered skills associated with that class (other skills are offered too, just not as often), you won't run into being "forced" into changing classes.

Does it actually change the appearance of the hero, or its attacks and animations, or are they stuck as the appearance they get when they begin? Is there any way to tell what class your opponent hero is?

only by right clicking...
which kinda makes sense... why would somebody change looks just because he/she changed class? (I'm not talking about xtremes though ...ie: necro monk)

Err.. what about a Knight becoming an Archmage?
I just think these class changes are too cosmetic. The class specific skill is pretty minor, some of them useless. And does it make much sense that you suddenly lose your acquired ability when you change class again? You shouldn't forget what you learnt just because you learn something else do you? Or is it cumulative? I hope it is cumulative..

I think it's more about what you specialize in. If you're a general, you are spending your time learning about leadership, people trust you, etc. Then you start to become more reclusive, studying the "mystic arts", and become an archmage. People don't look at you as a leader anymore, and you've instead gained the ability to fire off powerful spells. But then you decide to be a general again, spending your time practicing leadership skills, etc, and people respect your leadership abilities once more...

I still wish they would appear accordingly... I don't fancy having my warlock running around in green tights with a bow strapped to his back...
