Heroes VII Discussion Sub Topic - Skill and Magic System
Since the general Discusion system about the Heroes VII game has become way too crowded and some may begin to complain about some discussions being irrelevant or reduntant.
Here this can be avoided and everyone can say his/her opinion and share views, news and ideas.
EDIT1: Following Stevies' post, this topic can be expanded to what went wrong with heroes VII in areas such as classes, skills and their number of abilities etc. So it doesn't have to be entirely focused to Heroes VII but can take a starting point from there.

Don't think it was necessary. I tried having threads like this more than once, it just doesn't work. Perhaps the game doesn't inspire people to think about problem solving or other issues, and I think that's understandable.
Anyway, just to reiterate the main point which I think it's crucial before any conversation should take place: Classes, Skills, Attributes and Magic have to go back to the drawing board completely. And this is not with a view on Heroes 7 only, but with a view on the pilling ideas and expectations throughout the entire series.

I have to agree with Stevie. JJ also wrote a while ago that a game has to offer something new above that of previous games. Otherwise, why does a game exist to begin with, if it's all the same that we've already seen before?
Back to the drawing table. First figure out how the skeleton should look like, find the major and basic concepts that "make the game a Heroes game" and then add flesh and muscles.

If you believe that this thread is overlapping with previous ones or is redundant then you free to delete it
I only made it so that all the discussion from the main topic could freely flourish here after following today's' posts.

We can let it be on its own merit . If somehow people feel more inspired, the conversation will flow. If not, it'll drop off pretty soon on its own.
