Maps without recruitment

I'm looking for maps where I can't recruit any units. Something like "time of adventure" in WoG, where I can get new units by doing quests, but not by recruiting them in heir holdings/cities. Thanks in advance

P.S. It can be for any version of H3, WoG/Era/HoTA included- i just didn't want to create threads in multiple locations.

Hail to the King comes to mind.

In 'Hail to the King' you never actually buy troops from a castle, or build up a town, or manage resources, or recruit heroes. Instead you gain troops as you move around the map in accordance with the story.

Thank you! I know this map though, I liked it, but last opponent seems a bit off- he's much stronger than anyone encountered before...

I've been hoping for some gem I've overlooked

Well, in my map Stargate Atlantis, you can't recruit any, you got 4 creatures and must keep them alive until the end. But must be fan of the TV show to enjoy the map.

This is an amazing map of precisely the type you want:

Mission

Sadly, it is all in Polish, so you will lose some (very dry)jokes, and one or two clues, but it's doable regardless.

Tbh, I was quite amazed by how fun a map can be with so few options available to you.

Thanks- I don't think I'll lose too much, I'm native Polish speaker
