The best comfort zone is a log cabin somewhere deep in the woods, preferrably nearby a river or at least a lake. With a side of a sauna, and a smokery to preserve your game.

Ah yes, I would also add in the mountains, but make it a house with good isolation so you can have musical instruments, no better environment for creation and peace of the mind than true nature with no one around. First village at least several kilometers away when you need to go get beer.

Now, just add a rain out there, giving away that wonderful whiff of wet dirt and plants, and the soporific sound of it. I would sleep peacefully all day.

dude. A remote cabin in the mountains/woods doesn't need soundproofing. jam as much as you want. well, the wildlife may be scared away by that, but that's another topic.

To add to my comfort dream, a rocking chair on the patio and one by the fireplace is a must. And kantele for playing some tunes if I feel like it. along with a stash of single malt whiskey and quality home grown tobacco. cherry flavoured.

I mean isolation not for the sound but for the instruments and gear, humidity and temperature changes is bad for them. If you even add soundproof you can have your own recording studio.

yeah, every time it rains, i find myself lulled to sleep. i have to fight staying awake when it's raining. it always makes things so peaceful. probably has something to do with your time in the womb, psychologically.

That's a good point.

That's one form of white (pink, brown) noise, which helps with concentration and relaxation. Another thing that makes me sleepy is the sound of a fan.

Comfort?

The time at the morning between waking up and leaving your bed.

When the Wood Stove is doing his job and you go to its room after you have taken a shower or a bath.
