Here's my rendition of the town! Just need to work out the offsets of the buildings and animations and I should be able to showcase a test version.

There's team working with this town.  Don't see any reason to make two paraller projects.

I've literally done everything apart from a few things now. I need to remake the building shadows so they're pink and so are transparent in the def files, and then somehow stop the game from crashing whenever I build a marketplace. That is really confusing me. I put together a lineup that I've used for another of my towns that I can post if people request, so creatures and building names are sorted my end. Also used various def files for missing buildings like the blacksmith and resource silo. Projects like these can be done in a weekend with the right framework and a lot of free time, provided you're not having to make all the creatures from scratch, which can take a while (as the team are doing)!

Again, I would love to bring you in on the team and compare notes, especially if you have things in your version that are better and can be incorporated.......If you are not interested, I would then only ask that you not make available your version until we have finished and put out ours....my team has done a lot of great and hard work, and I would be very disappointed to see that all negated. Thanks so much again for your continued interest!!!! ((PS: I am still interested in seeing that town you were working on in the other thread as well))

It'd be nice to join, but I'm afraid I'm not much help, haha. You guys are way more professional than I am at modding stuff and finding out the causes of errors. I can provide help, definately, but I'm not sure I'd be of much use. Plus I have exams until next friday, but then I have a few months free to do whatever. And regarding the town I had idea for in the other thread, I kinda gave up -- VCMI doesn't currently allow for an 8th creature generator, even with a changed castle recruitment screens. Ah well, at least I tried
