What was Your Strategy To Accomplish Campaign Scenarios?
Hello,
Rules for this thread: You must state the campaign you are talking about at the beginning of your post (so that if someone dont want to read spoilers he can evade your post)
anyway, here are my strategies:
1.) for RoE campaigns, Long live the Queen (the human campaign), here is what I did:
I bought Orrin, 2 mages, and all the other heroes were Ballista specialists. at the third scenario, I could from day one invade the whole map from all the sides and clear the neutral stacks guarding mines. I had Christian, Gurniso, Pyre, Alrach and probably other Ballista heroes.
2.)In RoE Inferno Campaign:
I took the 8 heroes from dungeon. I made sure all of them had wisdom and I took Armaggedon Spell so that I can send my heroes with 1 Black Dragon or 1 Effreet who are immune to the spell. The map was still prolly not too easy becuz there are areas where no one can cast any spell, lol.
I still didnt finish all ROE campaigns (the others I finish was just brute force and not really a win-with-style lol)

last time I played SoD campaign it was a hell of challenge. Was testing the era 2.47 .dll and found that applied spells didn't last more than one turn, no matter your spell power -clearly bug. Decided to go ahead and won, but I remember pulling my hair at some moments.
