whats so bad about H4?
i know ill probably get flammed for posting this but whats so bad about heroes 4? are you guys mad because it didn't come with multiplayer? or are you just mad at the extremely minor bugs that the game currently has but most likely will be fixed? i play this game alot and i love it and really dont see any reason why you guys dislike it so much but plz post below and tell why its so bad

Nothing!! There nothing bad about H4!! Only some FIXABLE bugs and some performance problems.

well there are lots of bugs why does the game always crash??? the system requirements probably many people can't enjoy the game because of these, the stupid computer AI... there is a one wat teleporter from the computers town to my empty town, why does it not want to attack me? and thats not all, the computer hero went by a company of harpies to get some resources, attacked the harpies on the way back and lost all his troops. Surely we need a greater challenge than this? The requirements for grandmastery skills and the cost of creatures, I think we as players need to know this to make a well-informed decision. At the moment we can only know how much devils cost when the buy the dwellings.
I personally think that the basic ideas are excellent and with a smarter AI, HOMM 4 would be a great game. Granted that it is frustrating getting your heroes killed all the time, going back to town to ressurect them and trying desperately to get them to raise levels so that they can be more useful. Also at champion level on some maps, the things one can do is seriously very limited. But I think this should all be part of a learning process.
Without all these frustrations I think that HOMM 4 is actually quite a good game.

Ai: yes, this 1 might be better.
System req.- I passed them but still "laggy"

Spec Requirements are what keeps me from buying it. Hopefully I can get a new PC, lol. I just need more of a reason than to play 1 game to buy a new PC.

I am really enjoying the game. It is different enough to be really interesting and similar enough to make learning to play a breeze. So far I have not had any crashes. The music stutters a little which seems to be a common problem for most. I have noticed a slow down after playing for several hours like a lot of people here have mentioned. These things are not aggravating enough to stop me from playing though or to cause me to have negative feelings about the game. I am sure most people, myself included, can think of many features that they wish this game had or didn't have. I remember thinking that about HOMM3. My system is not all that either. I have a refurbished E-machine with
600 MHZ Celeron
160 MB RAM
4 MB? Intel graphics integrated (shares system memory)
Crystal Sound integrated
Seems like the system may have something to do with performance not necessarily how new the system is but the type of hardware contained in the system. Some software doesn't like some hardware.
Just my two cents.

well i don't see how playing against a dumb opponent is bad(makes me feel good cuz i always win lol) and the music is a little mesed up at times but im sure they'll fix it in a patch. for me i haven't had the game crash or become laggy on me yet, even when playing for long periods, so basically i can support what i said above HEROES4 IS GREAT! lol

losing heroes?
why lose your hero?
just load the this turn auto and don't fight the battle. or refight the battle but do it right this time. 
if you lose yer hero in the fight you can just stop right there and reload to the beginning of the turn. no need to go back to town to res. a hero

I think Heroes 4 is to slow paced
