I'd still have no problem with that, since I think once a good metaphor is out there, it belongs to everybody. But looking at how conservatives themselves are so touchy and just as whining about everthing they presume as normal so unconditionally, the accusation feels so hypocritical. Transexuals, gays, blacks or whoever else, at least have the excuse of facing real discrimination every once in a while.

OP should try asking in a Slavic language. Just last year I discovered the biggest Heroes fan base is prolly eastern European. I mentioned a Heroes concert taking place in Poland in another thread, that one was for music from H2,3,4. Word is the next concert (music from H5,6,7) could take place this year in Russia.
Anyway there were many many beautiful women at the Polish concert. They were all very well dressed (men in tux & women in dresses/gowns). Me being retarded & visiting Poland for the first time had sweatshirt & pants on like I was attending some sort of Californian Comic Con. Point is I couldn't figure out if the majority of the women there were fans or girlfriends accompanying their boyfriends who are actual fans. But during the meet n greet after show there were indeed at least 20 women so don't lose hope lol. They prolly just don't visit this forum. Like I said start learning a Slavic language..
Would it be a good idea to start a thread about nationalities tho, I'm curious where everyone is from. I did a search and the last one seems to be from 2008.

I don't believe "conservatives" (whats that anyway) are specifically moaning, while others ("progressives" I suppose?) bravely confront the challenges without a blink, moaning is an human and natural response - Lily Tomlin: "Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."
However that metaphor is perfectly on spot when defining someone who is compelling for a "safe space" which IS already a more than friendly space to him. Therefore it has no political meaning this time and you as commander-in-chief of the HC-progressives should feel gratified when a word expands from its origins.

Btw, I wasn't talking about this specific case, I happened to notice you like to use this "snowflakes" a lot, whenever there's some news about some protest or something similar, you go "snowflakes." Just wanted to give you some food for thought about it.

Really? You scared me, so I did a search on the word using my nick as reference and it returned 6 results*. I am not yet overloaded by slogans.
* one of them was a joke about censure words in HC
If mods start to add their own rules, we will have soon unintelligible posts, like: I snowed her, but the snow didn't want to snowball my snowberry. Hopefully her snowbird snowbrushed my snowy snowbush, and finally we could snowier some snowflakes, out of any snowploughs.
