[H3] Deeply Inundated Dungeon (puzzle map)
DOWNLOAD (Google Drive)
Updated to 1.01 ~ fixed some text and the Dungeon town event which was not taking daily 500 gold.
Updated to 1.02 ~ removed battles over water which required Quick Combat. Minor sequence rearrangement.
Updated to 1.03 ~ moved Pathfinding back early to correct unintended path. Few minor changes.
Updated to 1.04 ~ removed unintended pathing option.
Updated to 1.05 ~ Scenario Description is now visible from map selection area
Updated to 1.06 ~ Tweaked creatures in Dungeon town area
Updated to 1.07 ~ Changed 1 Quest to prevent unwanted solution
Quick info
* Play on Impossible (you don't get to keep Resources anyway)
* Use HDmod
* Don't use HD+ or 'Save before battle'
* If you want to use HD+, use SoD_SP and restore original obstacles and RNG

This is my second map release for HoMM3, the first being here. It is of similar difficulty in my opinion, there are no big battles required to win although you will be seriously challenged at times. I had originally planned 2 XL maps but after finding out some limitations of the game engine, I scrapped one of the XL maps and used some of its ideas in this map instead.
Victory Condition
Transport the Necklace of Ocean Guidance to a Dungeon Town.
Loss condition
Three days have gone by.
About the map
This is your starting area:
Your hero is Gunnar, and he is pretty fast. At least he's got that going forward!
Some of you may have difficulty opening the map - and as a matter of fact, you will need to play this with HDmod or WoG with new map sizes enabled, this map is tiny at 18x18! In a few days I will release an update to Unleashed map editor so anyone interested can easily open it. In the meantime, this is what the map looks like:
I also highly recommend using the latest SoD_SP version for some extra visuals.
If you have any questions, ask away.
The map is 100% beatable - I've tested quite a bit to ensure that.

Hello.
I defeat MotherNature on first day with quickcombat: https://imgur.com/a/W6clM1W
0-quantity creatures can be divided, so you can amass legions of trolls, harpies eth. in you army, with this all battles can be finished with quickcombat. Looks strange, due to plot and map's structure I can assume that this should not be like that.
also, quickcombat somehow inadequately evalute hex-aid tent's in Mother Nature's army. With quickcombat this fight is easer than without it. A year ago, I tested a fight with 6424lvl Tazar and same problem occur, quickcombat cannot take in consideration a Tazar's level and all army can be defeated like normal.
And this must be said - this new map looks amazing and full of new ideas which you can feel even without playing it at all

Sadly, I did not even consider that 0-creatures could be split; this is really unintended. If you want a real taste of the map try it without this bug.
I will try to see if there's a way to prevent this, otherwise add a note to players and a memo tu future-me
EDIT: this appears to be a HD-mod specific bug with the split hotkeys, there is no check if creature > 0. Heroes3 doesn't let you split 0-stacks with shift.

Nice trick with deadly wood observatory/dangerous scouting and true road preservation for the upper left corner. I dont know where I need exactly to go, but I think that core strategy around this tricks.

I skipped all fights except for first two, so it cannot be consider as finish and I dont know how logistic riddles would work with battles (maybe, I supposed to reach a dungeon on third day?). All puzzles on which I have a scrap are realy good.
Would like to see how someone complete this map in right way (I'm done for a while)

One thing worry me - a start choice for the Mother Nature. Resources seems suitable for her name and a little less hp is not bad for me. But maybe this ring would be needed in some deeds after defeating.
And yeah, there is a spot where you can land a ship

Some spoilers for battle with Mother Nature. This battle would testing you knowledge how to use certain spell. yeah, I cannot leave like this without trying main dish
Casts sequence
summon fire elem and left him in corner, wyvern fly away
cast antimagion on wyvern
cast armag (2 times) for aid tents destruction
wyvern must beat with poison, little rng here (30%)
cast slow
after 2 turns of poison she would have enought pollution level for hypnotize
crush her with ligtning bolt (pendant of negativity will not save her)
as I said, I playing this battle without testing nearly all previous fights (exception is - 2 cavaliers, 1 black knight, wyvern vs firebird and Mother Nature after this)
p.s. seems like you need not necessary to beat 2 behes in the box

Troll vs Angel and Devil vs Naga Queens is a most hardest fights in my opinion. Battles in this map is a much complicated than logistick tricks.

I dont pick a box with town portal, althought have enought mana and movepoints after fight with Mother Nature.
In a fight with Nagas, I used bad strategy, it's resulting in harsh rng, took about 30-40 minutes a same movements to pass this wall.

like this, map can be completed in less than minute after fight with black knight, you can defeat Mother Nature with crystal dragon on quick combat, get the hat, open observatory for dungeon, summon a boath, get money from ships and grab artefact on day two, buy Haart and give him necklace. La Fine.

for wining condition on first day I see that we need somehow to avoid the tax paying (1 crystal + 1 mercury = pity 100 gold) and give a try to farm enought nickles (without a Captain's Hat it's a more effective, maybe), but I dont think that
we have enought movepoints to do that and I'm too lazy to testing it.

Now I see that with this path it's possible to save a bit of movepoints.
and there is a much more simple, less mana consuming and fast way to beat Mother Nature - cast clone on wyvern, original wyvern fly away, clone beat with poison, cast hypnotize right after this, we don't need to destroy aid tents
p.s will be good if I can grab this juicy 10 mercury + box, but I dont know if this is possible (at least, I need to block a portal using a boat, but for first day?)

Updated the map to 1.02.
There are no longer battles over water requiring Quick Combat.
A minor sequence adjustment has also been made...

I checked latest version and it seems like a map become much more easy even for first day winning condition.
We need to complete a first two battles and after that use a new route which is impossible on the first version. All following fights winnable with quick combat (papashka Ufretin is an exception but you can just skip this fight).

Well, that's my bad - naturally you're not meant to keep Crystal Dragon. I tested the routes with Pathfinding and then removed Pathfinding from the hero, only giving it later. Lesson learned don't do changes without testing everything again
Thanks for the bug report, updating to 1.03 - hero will get Pathfinding early and a few minor changes.
