How to counteract the Armor of the Damned?

Hi everyone! It's my first time in this forum, so I hope I'm asking my question in the right place. I'm playing the map 'The devil is in the detail' from 'Horn of the Abyss' as a Tower and the players Pink and Teal (the most powerful factions of this map) have taken it with me and will not let me even breathe. And, frankly, I do not know what to do to deal with heroes that double me in stats.

In particular and the reason for the thread is, I'm using Solmyr as a main hero, I have 3 cities -2 tower and 1 conflux- and one of my towers is going to be besieged by a teal beast (Darkstorn) equipped with Armor of the damned and 6 creatures (2 Azure Dragons, 35 Black Dragons, 12 Fairy Dragons, +60 Devils and +200 Sultan Efreet and +300 harpyes) that can fly over the walls in the first turn, cursing and annihilating half of my army in the first turn. I have the Orb of Inhibition but, apparently, it doesn't work to counter the Armor of the damned's power (I have the Cape of silence too, but I didn't try yet).

So I ask here what you would do in my situation. Have you played this map? How did you win? BTW I found Town Portal spell, so I can run away, but it will be a very hard blow if I lose this city (I have already lost another tower that is on an island, near the center of the map). The same guy who besieged me has also killed me several explorers in the underground, it seems omnipresent. pink, on the contrary, sails near my shores, but the strongest of them, equipped, I guess, with armaggedon's blade does not pay much attention to me.

Thanks in advance!

What about casting mass Cure or Dispel to get rid of everything?
You could also counter mass Slow with mass Haste or mass Curse with mass Bless.

I can't. My main hero only has Earth and Air magic. The truth is that this fight is unrealistically uneven even though I had the 4 magic schools at an expert level. I have opened this thread to know how the game has been handled by those who have played it.

If you have Air Magic, you can probably at least cast mass Haste.
Otherwise you can always spam Implosion, Meteor Shower and Chain Lightning, maybe even Armageddon to wither down enemy forces.
And remember to avoid losses with Resurrection/Animate Dead.
If you had Fire Magic and Berserk, it almost does'nt matter how many creatures the enemy have as long as you get the turn first and it's not immune to Berserk.

So the Armor of the Damned is the only
one exeption which allows stacks to be affected by more than 3 spells?

Ehm no, you can always be affected by 10+ spells, but the interface only shows the last 3.

Ironfist of Ogre is basiclly counter set for Armor of the Damned, but you would need assault enemy when he hides in Castle, to counter Armor of the Damned spells.

Cape of silence works against armour of the damned.
Items are ranked:
HotA set items > HotA items > SOD set items > SOD items,
which means that every casual HotA item value has prior strenght dealing against SOD set items, while HotA set items are absolute.

Proof for that can be the fact, that the cape of silence actually makes the armour cast only misfortune I believe, while Fist of the Ogre haste still would remain dealing against the cape of silence.

Well, don't use Solmyr as the main hero

If you can't beat him, you have to run away and come back after he leaves, there is no helping it. Even if you were able to beat him with heavy losses, what will you do after that? How will you beat the other opponents with the few troops you have left?

I must say I have not played that map, but the general strategy to win under such conditions is to run away, conserve your power (troops) and retake the important towns day 1 of each week to recruit the troops.
