theory on after life, anyone?
Okay well I have my own theory really. Supposed science is right, and the universe is in constant expansion, then contraction and another big bang. Assuming that is true, we as humans have no chance of survival. Everything will be eliminated eventually (during contraction). Nothing will be re-created the same. So really, how does it matter if you die now or later? How does it matter what you did in your life when (as I believe) you die you are just gone. Zip. You will not think anymore, therefore as far as you go, the universe is over. You will never come back. It is hard to grasp, but I am just beginning to undestand. So really, when you think about it, no matter how much fun you have now, or what you do if you die tomorrow, it won't even matter, because you are gone.

well the sun will last around 10000 years more then implod so yes maby we should not care or maby we shold start thinking to move some where else ! any surgestions??

Yup. But even if ....
Eventually the universe will kill everything within it. So in the LONG LONG run we have no chance.
In a shorter run.... The sun will expand, and likely create a black hole from not even light can escape. To be far away enough from this hole, we would have to leave earth within the next 200 years so that we will not be sucked in.
Realistically, I think expeditions will not be that sophisticated by then to even start a civilization anywhere, considering it will take at least 300 years to get to a planet that might (might) be livable.
So I think there really is no point in research, science all together.... because no matter what we know, we are damned to go down sooner or later.

there are allready good research on down freaching on bugs so in the futur this will happent to men as well or maby just away ouer DNA and hope that there are someone out there futur in science then us ! about the black dont know enough about that supject to say anythink about that !! havent been ther ;-)

None... because there is No afterlife...
It's just a bedtime story.. To light the fear of dying once.. If you tell your kids that they will live happy in heaven when they die they will be less afraid..
What is pretty stupid.. if they aren't afraid to die.. they will be less carefull..... More deaths..

Yeah Wes... when was the last time you died and came back to settle the age-old argument as to whether there's an afterlife? That's one of several things that science cannot prove one way or the other.
IMHO, if you're living your life like there is no God... you better hope you're RIGHT!

Otherwise if you are disappointed in no afterlife, why bother to live now? It's all pointless, should just go and end the suffering of your mortal thoughts.
If you don't believe the sun will rise tomorrow or any of a myriad things, then you should be out having as much fun as possible. It's a weird contradiction though that it takes a civilization thousands of years to have the spare time to contempelate these things, and if everyone ever believed it truthfully there would be chaos.
No excuse to not go out and do everything, or anything you wanted to do if this brief moment is all we have. You wouldn't waste time talking on here if you really believed it.

Hold the line it will surely come clear on time.
There is one saying that warrior prepares for only one fight and for that only...in which he dies.
Death is part of life like birth is.
Don't worry about it.
People have so high hopes about their lives nowadays. They want everything family, career and live hundred years, leave something behind and be sure not to miss all the fun all the others are experiencing and talking about.
But in reality it's always everyday survival. You will notice that if you go through difficult situations and not always live in "safety-trap" which western society has created. There is so much freetime that people spend it thinking whether there is after life or not. Or they try to escape the pain of the world by using every second to something which they necessary even really like...as long as they are doing something "cool" and looking "cool" while doing them.
If you ask me...we live once.
I believe I'm born once and die once.
Live by the moment and enjoy air going in and out.
That's life. And I know that...in the end
Life is crap and nothing really matters but...
Just keep your **** hard and powder dry and world will turn.
Believe me.

yea really.
my point though is... when it is scientifically impossible (I"m not saying there might not be) an afterlife,
so let's assume there is not, then how does it matter how much fun you have now? It's a hard thought to think, and I can't really do it myself, but in the end it makes no difference who did what, and how much fun we had, because you will not exist any more, or will ever again.

Actually I'm not sure if there is death after life... Is there death at all? Please, Mike tell us 
I mean - it's all life - you know... what's is life after all? gimme definition for life - and I'll understand ya!
You see all those people putting them in coffins and going to the graves - that's FALSE - that's real FALSE - cause those people - they are not DEAD! they are ALIVE! really LIVE! - go ask one of them - you'll see!

to figure out the problem, you have to find out the nature of life. what does it mean to be alive. then you can find out what it means to be not alive, but then is that the same as dead?

so basicly your saying just give up?
even if what u are saying were true about us dying in the end anyway, i would sure as hell would not go quietly, here this might be sorta suitable

I know there isn't afterdeath because
I don't remember any other life before this one(And what's the point of returning as something different like a chicken with a whole other thought system... Then you don't even know you were wesley or malkia or whatever you was.. SO WHAT'S THE snowING POINT?)
I think it will be black after your death.. Just like it was before birth... and if it's not.. then I will burn in hell.. but whatever! I always enjoyed evil more then good..
God and afterlife are nothing more then bedtime stories...
God most of all because it's from JARUZALEM a land where everybody believes in everything...
Why everything from the bible happend in jaruzalem and other turkies(or whatever) countries? Because they make up everything? Isn't the greek mythology from east europe aswel?

A question.. Who did made the Bible the first time?
God/Eve or adam? Or the snake in the tree...

if you live ond day at the time and you satified whit the way your living i think that is the best way to live! afterlife well westley we all have difrent believes , religions and a different way of seaing things and so it shall be if we all see it like you do there was no meaning in a discussion ! so you cant just say there is no afterlive if you dont have some fact !
